14.01.2022 Last week the Peter Cramer memorial table at Petersons Lookout in the Tyers State Park was replaced. This table was dedicated to our colleague and CFA volunteer... who lost his life while on deployment to the Tasmanian bushfires in 2013. The table was stolen at the end of last year. Parks Victoria and DELWP would like to recognise the following businesses for their generous donations:- Tyler Builders from Traralgon who built and installed the table Dahlsens Traralgon for the timber Cams Engraving for the plaque On Friday 28 April Peter Cramer was also recognised at the National Memorial Service in Canberra for fire and emergency services personnel, hosted by the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council (AFAC). This is an annual public memorial service to honour the commitment and sacrifice of fire and emergency services personnel who have been killed in the line of duty. Parks Victoria

08.01.2022 We had a very productive weekend over the long weekend. After a ridiculously long documentation period for such a small job, we finally made a start to the extension of the shop front at 16 Kay st Traralgon. I think we managed to find nearly every service in the area along with an existing footing that went down to China, that looks like it has been there since the dawn of time. All of this and a storm that i think could nearly be classed as a drought breaker. However we prevailed and by the end of Sunday the new slab was down. So now we wait a couple of weeks for the steel structure and then its on for young and old. Will keep you all posted

06.01.2022 So here is something we don't get too many opportunities to do. We recently were awarded a little project for Latrobe city shire to make few modification to the oldest building in Gippsland!The Old Star Hotel built in 1875- now known as Cafe Stellina in Traralgon. This old building really is something special, the timber framing, including the roof, is quite literally small trees that have been flattened off on two sides to create a flat wall. Internal walls still have the original wall paper and news paper backing. See photos
