15.01.2022 "Homebound" Are you stuck at home in isolation right now? I am. Isolation is someting I am all too familliar with. In the middle of the last decade, for a period of three years, isolation became my way of living, as due to my health, I physically couldn't leave the house, or even my bed very often.... I would be so desperate to get out of the house at times that it was if I was a prisoner trying to escape the confines of alcatraz. The isolation experience during the COVID-19 pandemic has brought back many emotions and memories of that time, some of which I would rather not remember. 12.01.2022 "Stay Away" During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government and health officials have advised the world to practice social distancing, which among other rules involves being a certain distance away from those around us, actively trying to avoid touching others and limiting the number of people at gatherings, or outlawing gatherings completely. There are some who are terrified of getting close to anyone, and won't let anyone enter their personal space to the point where if anyone... does get too close to them, even by accident, they almost seem to treat it as a form of abuse, and then in turn abuse you for making an unintentional mistake. ---------- Prints of this image are available. 06.01.2022 "Rolled Out" During the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a tidal wave of fear hitting the world, and in response, a great multitude of terrified souls have swarmed the supermarkets and cleared the shelves of many necessary supplies. The most notable of supplies that has been panic bought is toilet paper.... Stores have had no stock by the time most of us could get there, and those who have been able to get their hands on it have been stocking up, not allowing others, even those most in need, to purchase even a single roll. Those who have only had one roll left, or worse yet, none, have been afraid that they wouldn't be able to get any more. 01.01.2022 UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19: Sadly, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Melton City Council has just informed me that the opening event for my exhibition "The Chronic Diaries" at the CS Gallery in Caroline Springs on Thursday night has been cancelled. Thankfully though, the exhibition itself will still be running every day that the gallery is open.... WORKSHOP UPDATE: The "Basics In Mobile Photography" workshops I was going to be running in April at the gallery have also been cancelled. My "Storytelling In Photography" workshops at the gallery in May have been postponed at this stage with no new date decided on yet. If you get a chance to see the exhibition during the 3 months that it is open for, I hope you enjoy it! Also, please stay safe and keep as well as you possibly can!
