17.01.2022 Gym anxiety No matter how experienced you are, gym anxiety is a real thing. "Are they looking at me?", "Am I doing this wrong?", "Gosh, I hope I don't look stupid right now", "Uh-oh, I accidentally caught eye contact with someone, I hope they don't think I'm staring at them", "That person is lifting so much heavier than me", "I wish I had the confidence to wear a crop top, I'd never be able to do that". ... These are all common thoughts that can occur while working out. I want you to know that this is completely normal, whether you are a beginner or an experienced gym go-er. So, how do you deal with it? Remind yourself of your reason why exercising is important you. Keep it in the back of your mind that you are here for yourself. Reality is, no one is there to judge you, we are all on our own paths and the person you awkwardly caught eye contact with has probably zoned out during their sets and didn't even notice. Know that there might be someone in the gym that looks up to you. Don't be afraid to give someone else a compliment, you just never know, it might make someone's day and come back to you when you're having an off day. If it gets too overwhelming, opt for another form of exercise; a body weight workout, a walk, a bike ride. Something where you feel a bit more comfortable and try again tomorrow. It takes courage to step out of your comfort zone but giving up won't bring you closer to where you want to be. Search for a positive and keep moving forward.

15.01.2022 D I G I N You don't have to drastically change just because it's a new year. The best changes are made over time.... Fun fact, change will only occur when you want it bad enough and consistently put in the work. Instead of making big changes straight away, focus on small changes over time. This will help you in the other 11 months of the year. Make yourself a priority, not just for January but for life.
