18.01.2022 As predicted RBA rates on hold. I am of the opinion we are in for a term of stability with Interest rates. If you are a home loan borrower, it might be an idea to have a look at the Fixed rates that are on offer. Call me for an indication 0410895700.

15.01.2022 What to do with your existing Home Loan, do you Fix or do you remain variable ? Rates are at historical lows and it is tempting to fix in your position now and you will have certainty in what your financial commitments are for the next 1 to 5 years. Not a bad idea................ but what if you come into money, you may not be able to clear a large portion of your loan without attracting some kind of penalty. Consider this, split your borrowings have a portion variable and a portion fixed, you get the best of both worlds. Fixed rates you have certainty but no flexibility, Variable rates you have flexibility but no certainty. Food for thought.

09.01.2022 The first Tuesday of the month is here and the RBA meet today to make a decision on Rates. It is my opinion based on a low inflation rate and the continuing adjustment in the mining sector that the RBA will cut rates by 0.25% today and it will be the last cut for this financial year. If rates are reduced, this will of course continue to fuel an already hot property market. Tyrrells Tip = RBA Rate to drop to 2.00%.
