05.01.2022 Sifting through photos from the weekend competition at the Ekka, by far I think this is my favourite. This is my son Jaiden, 14 years old he competed in Novice Forging. He finished his shoes within the 40 minutes, there's no handicap for his age and he is up against everyone else just like everyone else. I couldn't be a more proud Dad!!

04.01.2022 It was a privilege to go away on the weekend and compete in the Gatton Heavy Horse Competition. Am very please to say that we came home with the win! Would like to say thanks to PFBAQ for putting on a great event, it was a very well run event, without the committee members and stewards these couldn't happen, very well done to you all. Big thanks to Jonathan Nunn Fwcf for making the trip over to Judge the competition, it was a privilege to have someone of your knowledge and c...aliber judge our work. Thanks to GK Products for the beautifully made Apron. Big thanks to all the other competitors for competing, without the rest of the competitors there wouldn't be these events. Bradley Strauss and Elliot Blencowe it's been that much fun the past 3 years doing the competitions with you guys, we've had some cracker trips over the time and there will be plenty more to come! I think the antics and time we've spent together have put us way past team mates, it's always an honour to be doing this stuff with you guys! See more

01.01.2022 Well I'd be lying if I said I wasn't holding back some proud Dad moment tears! Jaiden showed such courage in his first competition at the age of 14, he entered the Novice Classes and came away with 3rd in Judges Choice and 2nd in Forging, was also awarded the Encouragement Award! He stood strong next to the adults and his dedication and hard work paid off.
