15.01.2022 Tzu Chi Philippines launched a cash-for-work relief programme to recruit local residents to clean up their hometowns. The locals gradually recovered from the disaster and the former vitality of the city was restored.

14.01.2022 Over the past 6 weeks Tzu Chi volunteers have continued to provide help and assistance to many different businesses within the community.Distance has never been a problem for our volunteers travelling to the countryside of Bunyip to deliver PPE products to Hillview Aged Care and then Oakwood Community School in Caulfield. Our volunteers continue to give of their time and effort to aid as many as possible. Our volunteer work has extended with Launch Housing. We were asked to h...elp with collecting as many as 100 boxes of clothing, female bags, scarves and various items for male, female and children. These boxes were taken back to our centre in Box Hill and our volunteers came together to sort every item into their categories ready to be distributed to Launch Housing depots. Our volunteers worked tirelessly over 3 days to sort and collate all the clothing for Launch housing. So far volunteers have delivered many of the items back to Launch Housing. To assist Launch Housing our centre is storing the boxes waiting for the next distribution. A big thank you must go to all the volunteers who spent 4 hours per day to fulfil this arduous task. Also a thank you to those volunteers that made so many medical caps that have now been distributed to a number of hospitals.
