22.01.2022 Well, that didn't last long did it..... Unfortunately it looks like the latest round of restrictions will put an end to our Auskick dreams for 2020 (and my coaching debut)... ;) Once the AFL confirms I will update on what is happening, but suggest if you haven't signed up yet then you hold off. If you have signed up, the AFL will refund your payment (I will advise contact details for this).... Stay safe and look after all of our little legends. Nick
14.01.2022 Auskick is starting again on SATURDAY 18th July until Saturday 19th September. Registrations open now at play.afl/auskick The season will need to be different to previous years due to COVID-19 which I'll post on here and email out to all participants over the weekend, but it will still be a great fun atmosphere for our Auskickers to hone their skills and burn some energy saved up through isolation!... Thanks to all who have offered their help to keep the sessions running - it wouldn't be possible without everyone doing their part!
11.01.2022 Hi Everyone I've now received the protocols from the AFL that will need to be in place if we're going to get started with Auskick this year. There is an additional webinar on Tuesday to answer any questions, so by the end of next week we'll have a decision on our 2020 season. One thing is for certain though; If we are going ahead this year we will need all the help we can get from parents If we're going to ,meet these requirements and make it safe for everyone.... A few areas I will need help with: - All equipment needs to be thoroughly cleaned before and after each session - Will need someone to "sign in" every participant (with full contact details) - Parents will be required to assist with their Child in each activity (coaches are required to adhere to 1.5 metre rules to anyone they're not related to). Of course, if there is any tightening of restrictions at any time this could change everything again. If you're able to help with any of the additional requirements, please let me know.
