They wanted a site to reflect the premium service they offer, a site and logo that was elegant and could make it easier for their clients to get up to date catalogues and order forms. It was a pleasure to work with Jodie to come up with a new logo and branding for the company.

22.01.2022 Outdoor smart lighting install by UberNerd. This install required an outdoor WiFi access point and 7 smart globes to cover around 40m of driveway. The spec for this project was to allow the clients to turn on the lights, hands free as they arrive home.

21.01.2022 A warning to ubernerd customers. Compromised accounts are sharing this message to their friends. Please do not click the link. It links to a fake google sign in page which steals your credentials. It is also a good reminder to use different passwords for each sign in service you have in case your credentials are stolen. Using a password manager like lastpass makes this simple. Keep safe everyone.

21.01.2022 UberNerd is proud to announce the completion of a recent major web design project. https://connectwest.org connectwest is a volunteer-led, member-based network connecting, promoting and supporting community leaders across Melbourne’s western suburbs (West).... They needed a platform that could be used to provide a list of community groups and individuals and allow them to get in touch and communicate on the website forum. This site allows members to post place/service listings on the interactive map and also allows users to search through the listings to find the resources they need. 18.01.2022 Warning to anyone using Avast antivirus and Windows 10. The latest update to Windows; April Update is breaking because of Avast, forcing the system into an unrecoverable state. Please uninstall Avast and use windows defender before installing the next batch of updates. I am fixing a PC which will no longer boot because of this combination and there are many more reports online.

The Salmon Ponds at Plenty required a way to monitor the water temperature at the feeding pond to let visitors know when it's best to feed the fish. If the water temperature rises above 21 degrees the fish get stressed and do not eat. The food increases the toxicity of the water and limits oxygen content. This hardware monitors the temperature, lets the visitors know when feeding is advised and also sends a SMS alert to let the caret...akers know the water is getting warm.
