From the results from the Round Robin I have had to move some teams around to ensure that we had even numbers in each division to eliminate byes in what is already a short season. I hope you can all appreciate the executive decision I had to make in such a short period of time.

23.01.2022 ALL CDNA NETBALL SUSPENDED Due to the ongoing COVID-19 advice And changing nature of the situation all netball at CDNA is suspended effective immediately. A...s you will understand this was a difficult decision to make but the executive committee believe that it is the right one to keep our community safe. This includes all QPL and Representative training, the Tuesday and Wednesday night competition and all club netball activities. During this time NO club training is to be held. At this stage we are hoping that Saturday netball will re-commence in May. This will be determined once the executive committee receives more information. QPL and Representative teams will receive more information on their season in the coming weeks as decisions are made by Netball Queensland. Please share this information with all CDNA community members you know. 18.01.2022 MARCH PAST This Saturday 7:15 - All players to meet at the UBNC marquee 7:30 - All players assemble on court 3 8:00 - March Past commences... 8:30 - First game starts All players will receive their UBNC players cap for the season - a gift from our amazing sponsors Full Spectrum Education THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! The draw for Saturday will be emailed out within the next couple of days but it looks like the majority of teams including our set & go teams will be playing 3 to 4 games each so it's going to be a long day! UBNC Will have a couple of gazebos up for our players and if space permitting parents are welcome to bring a camping chair to put up too! Pleas make sure all girls nails are cut short and no jewellery to be worn - this includes no tape on earrings. It is CDNA's policy that all earrings are removed. Looking forward to seeing all 18 teams that's 149 PLAYERS which is a club record - WOOOHOOOO!!!!!

17.01.2022 Grading THIS SATURDAY 22nd February for our U11 teams through to our Div teams and will be held at Unity College. U 11 & U12 will be from 8:30- 10:00 - In Mo Chuisle ( outdoor undercover court near auditorium)... All Div grading 8:30 - 12:00 ( In the Auditorium) On arrival please make your way to either auditorium or mo Chuisle as specified above ready to be given your number and have it marked on your arm and leg. Would be helpful if the girls wear shortsleeve or vest tops so we can see the number on their arms. Please can all players bring a drink bottle All Set and Go players will be emailed separately next week and informed of their new team and their allocated coach.

16.01.2022 NET SET GO It's not too late to start your netball journey this year! We have places available for our youngest superstars in the Net Set Go skills program.... This is a 10 week introduction to netball and is run by our wonderful Net Set Go Coordinator and assisting coaches. This course is perfect for players who have always wanted to try netball but aren't quite ready to take the court yet. You also get a nice little Net Set Go pack with a shirt and other goodies. 14.01.2022 CDNA Bushfire Fundraiser We are reaching out to our Caloundra Netball family and beyond to help the Western Districts Community Club rebuild after losing th...eir facilities in the devastating bushfires on Kangaroo Island. The Western Districts Netball Club are a big part of this community, allowing a pathways for netballers young & old through KANGAROO ISLAND NETBALL ASSOCIATION. On March 7th at our opening round, members will have the opportunity to donate their spare change at our collection points around the grounds. We will also have information for those of you who may not carry change around and wish to transfer directly to the club. All donations big and small are welcome! Our clubs and association came together las...t night to finalise how our season will look. Training can now resume, within our COVID safety guidelines and games will start again on Saturday 18th July! 11.01.2022 RETURN TO PLAY UPDATE Happy Saturday to our members and thank you for being so patient! As you may have seen in the media, community sport is slowly coming... back to life over the coming months. Which is very exciting! For both our night and junior competition there are a series of requirements that need to be met before play can safely resume at Caloundra. In addition to the Netball Australia and Netball Queensland guidelines, we are also working with Sunshine Coast Council to ensure Caloundra Indoor Stadium can comply with what is required of us all. At the moment the stadium remains closed but Council are working towards an opening date in the coming weeks. Our clubs and representative teams cannot return to training until we fulfil a number of criteria. This applies across any venue our clubs use. In the meantime, please continue your individual and virtual training in anticipation! This week we will be meeting with all clubs to discuss what resources are needed to fulfil these obligations. Once this has occurred we will be able to provide a further update. As a volunteer organisation we are doing our best across all levels to give our members the chance to return to the court in 2020. 11.01.2022 A MESSAGE TO OUR MEMBERS To our members, Caloundra Indoor Stadium has been declared a vaccination hub by Queensland Health. As you will understand this has... a profound impact on all Caloundra District Netball Association competitions and teams. This announcement has come as a surprise to the Association and therefore, we are currently working through a contingency plan to ensure that all competitions can be back up and running as soon as possible. Caloundra Indoor Stadium is home to our Social, Opens, Mixed and Junior Competitions as well as the training ground for our Premier League, Representative Teams and a large contingent of our Junior Clubs. Our 2021 season will look a little different again. We understand your frustration around the changes and uncertainty of the competition. We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank every single member of our community who has stepped up to help. To all our committee members, club executives, coaches, managers and officials, your countless unpaid hours do not go unnoticed. Lastly to all our families and players. 08.01.2022 ATTENTION CDNA has cancelled all junior netball immediately for the next 30 days - this does mean that tomorrow’s round robin has been CANCELLED! We will inform you when CDNA inform us that Saturday netball resumes. ... 08.01.2022 To all our UBNC players and parents please see this great news from Caloundra netball association. If all goes to plan and we are able to make use of all the facilities at the Caloundra indoor sports complex, we are set for return to train/play week 1 of term 3. We will be sure to keep you updated over the next period as to what this process will look like for our club. 06.01.2022 Hi guys , Just want to quickly point out to our parents attending games on Saturday morning. We must be following the correct covid procedures set out by Sunshine Coast council. This means entering and exiting through the main car park. If you park your car on pelican waters bvld you need to walk all the way down to the front entrance before entering the courts. Please do not jump the blocked off area as shown in the below picture. We had a few members doing this on Saturday and we all need to do our bit to comply with the covid laws.

We are continually working through changes to our operations, including the Saturday comp, with the help ...of Sunshine Coast Council and Netball Queensland on the next steps to best protect our members. As of Monday 16th March, our Tuesday and Wednesday night competitions will continue as scheduled. We ask that you take all necessary precautions as advised by Queensland Health. If you are feeling unwell, please advise your team and stay home. One netball game is not worth your health and the health of your teammates. Hand sanitizer will be available at the front desk, we encourage you to use it upon entering and leaving the stadium. Representative and QPL training will go ahead as planned. Members that are concerned are encouraged to contact their coach today if they do not intend to train. We will keep everyone updated to the best of our ability.
