10.01.2022 STATEMENT REGARDING COVID-19 2nd August, 2020 In response to the most recent COVID-19 announcement, UCANDANCE will be taking the following steps necessary to en...sure the health and safety of students, staff, their families & our community. As of Thursday the 6th of August, there will be no face to face classes running for the remainder of Term 3, or until otherwise advised it is safe to do so. This applies to all classes & all age groups in Shepparton, Tocumwal and Numurkah. While we are greatly saddened about this news & can empathise with how our students and teachers will be feeling...we do know that with your support, we can do this and will again come out on the other side. Classes will continue to run and move to our Online Platform, commencing Week 5 Monday the 10th of August. Your online timetable and zoom links will be emailed as soon as we have had the time to program this information. We look forward to continuing to provide our dancers with the opportunity to stay together, connect with their dance family, be active, engaged and most importantly dance. Children need Dance in their lives, especially during times like this. We thank everyone for supporting UCANDANCE, businesses in the Goulburn Valley & most importantly contributing to enabling children do what they love. I hope that everyone stays safe. 08.01.2022 Being a dance teacher is a challenge every single day. The constant drive to impact the lives of little people in a super positive way and the pressure to turn ...up and be better every day. The rewards are amazing, the appreciation, the smiles, the love and the successes (big or tiny) make showing up every day worth it. But showing up on zoom doesn't quite fill the cup. But still, dance teachers all over Australia, push themselves to give everything they have and then wake up and do it again tomorrow. Every single day of being a dance teacher is hard and then add the restrictions and tragedy of a pandemic, taking away the very soul of what we do, its heart breaking. Teachers need to be back in the studio to TEACH, our little ones need to back in a safe environment that fosters their health and wellbeing mentally, physically and emotionally. It's great to see parks and beaches open and bustling in Melbourne. But can't help feeling frustrated seeing kids climbing over each other and parents gathering in large groups yet children can not go to dance in a naturally socially distanced environment with procedures in place to keep everyone safe. If dance schools can not open then they need to be COMPENSATED. Dance teachers need financial and emotional support. Please do not ignore the emotional and mental impact this is having on our teachers who LIVE TO GIVE. Teachers please feel the support from your communities and the industry as a whole. Though this has been such a tragedy, it's great to see the industry coming together. Love to all... WE WILL GET THERE xo

Although so tiny, their participation level and willingness to give everything a go was outstanding. We can tell you LOVE to DANCE. We can’t wait to present you with your Trophy Zoe Ennis Zoe joined us this year and participates in our Tots & Tutus Ballet class & AcroDance class for preschoolers. We would like to acknowledge how well Zoe participated in our Online program. You are a SUPERSTAR Arianna Iaria Arianna joined us in 2019 and participates in our Ready Set Dance & Ready Set Ballet class. Arianna LOVES everything DANCE. On stage..she is an absolute SUPERSTAR
