Professor Geraldine "Gerry" Thomas emphasises the prevalence of misconceptions related to radiological risk as well as the range of factors that can influence both dose and exposure to radiation. Professor Thomas is a senior academic at Imperial College London. She has written numerous editori...al pieces and appeared in the SBS-TV documentary series Uranium - Twisting the Dragons Tail. Called before the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Royal Commission in South Australia she answered the Commissions questions regarding the effects and threats of radiation. Gerry is a member of University College London (UCL) Australias Nuclear Working Group.
