The clearance rate is down very slightly when compared to the same period last year. I would argue however that auctions are most popular in a heated market. Very little was being done about this ticking time bomb at that stage. Legislation is now being considered by the NSW government to tackle this huge issue. Under proposed changes external wall cladding is to be identified as a major defect on apartments.
