23.01.2022 Hi Upper Families, Tonight on channel news it was reported by Tony Jones that 'Auskick is Back' starting the week of 13 July. The Junior club will need a few days to work out the details and a start date once we get further details from Auskick. In the meantime if you are interested in running or helping please let us know.... It has been long wait but it will be great to see the kids out there on a Saturday morning again. 18.01.2022 Hi all, It's time to come together and do all we can to support one of our great young talents and his family. Sadly, young junior Campbell Cresswell's father, Stuart, has had a reoccurance of brain cancer and has the fight of his life on his hands once again, after recently beating this dreadful disease once before.... Campbell's doing his bit by walking to cure Brain Cancer and is looking to raise funds for research. Campbell has already surpassed his target of $500 and we want to get him well up towards $1000. Any donation towards the cause makes a difference. $1, $5, $10, whatever it may be. To Campbell, his mum Anthea and of course, his father Stuart, we're all right behind you and have our full support and we know you can beat this dreadful illness. 14.01.2022 Dear Upper Gully Families & Friends, We are disappointed to have to share today’s announcement of the Seasons Cancellation, although we do support the EFNL in this decision. We have been so proud of all our club members throughout this interrupted season and look forward to seeing everyone back next season. Please allow the committee some time to review the clubs position regarding the administration side of the football club and we will be back in touch shortly. ... We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our families, volunteers, coaches, team managers, committee members and our fantastic Upper Gully players, for their commitment to the club and we look forward to being able to bring everyone back together as soon as we can. 11.01.2022 Dear Upper Gully Families & Friends, We are disappointed to have to let you all know that effective immediately all club sanctioned football training has been suspended in line with announcements today from the EFNL and the State Government while our state is trying to gain control over the second wave of COVID-19. This comes just as we were about to welcome our Under 8 & 9’s back to football for season 2020 and a number of our team where about to begin our traditional two ni...ght a week under lights training. While we are very disappointed with this latest announcement we have been really proud of the way the club, our families and players have conducted themselves throughout our Sunday training sessions. But for now we must put this on hold for another 6 weeks. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our families, volunteers, coaches, team managers, committee members and our fantastic Upper Gully players for their commitment to the club and their efforts in training so far this season.
