20.01.2022 The markets are all closed down now, but I still need to sell some crafts to make some money in order to cater to the basic needs of our boys who live at Amari... House in Uganda. It's hard to imagine how tough it is for them atm, food markets etc shut down, schools closed, (part of the school fees we pay for the boys includes their lunch), there's no such thing as Welfare Payments, no prospect of any income to ease the burden. I've heard that they've even put some prices up, like petrol, and sugar. Our boys won't have the luxury of sugar again anywhere in the near future. So, today for Amari Uganda in Australia I'm featuring my beautiful necklaces, all except one style are made of paper. Bright exotic pieces, all reasonably priced, shop from home, pay by bank transfer or Paypal, and I'll post, deliver, or leave outside for pick up. Please visit my page for more gift ideas etc. Ugandan Paper Bead Jewellery and African Crafts. ... See more

03.01.2022 Due to the spread of the Coronavirus, today I was sent info re the cancellation of one of the markets that I regularly attend. No doubt the others will soon fol...low. But markets or not, our kids who live at Amari Ug still need to eat, go to school, be clothed and have their basic needs met. So I'll try to promote more sales here on FB, in order to get income for them. Today I'm featuring my beautiful bracelets. Please consider purchasing for yourself, or as a gift. They really are unusual, beautiful and quite exotic, or visit my page, Ugandan Paper Bead Jewellery and African Crafts for more ideas. All money from sales goes to help the children who live at Amari House, Kampala Uganda. One love Amari See more
