20.01.2022 We are excited to begin introducing our 2021 scholarship recipients to you all. Congratulations Emma Craswell ! Emma is the deserving recipient of an Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music & Liddell Coal Operations - Glencore 2021 Harp Scholarship.... Emma has been under the tuition of the wonderful Verna Lee. As it happens, Emma and Verna live approximately 400km away from each other and almost all of Emma's lessons have occurred online. Emma is a dedicated student and we are looking forward to watching her musical journey evolve. The Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music community would like to extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors for their most generous donation towards our 2021 Scholarship program. The sponsorship of the scholarship program has the potential to foster and enrich the musical journey of individual students who may be talented, disadvantaged, ordinary or extraordinary.

02.01.2022 Come and join us in this new and exciting program. Down Beat is a group drumming activity for children and adults. Jr Down Beats (5pm) is a half hour class full of fun activities to learn basic technique and rhythms. Our Down Beat Masters (5:30pm) is an hour long class for a more "mature" audience where we will build on basic skills and technique.... Grab a mate, come and get creative + have a blast! DETAILS: This new program runs for 5 weeks Tuesday 10.11.20 to Tuesday 8.12.20 COST: Jr Down Beat - Special half term introductory price $33 Down Beat Masters - Special half term introductory price $66 *An enrolment form will be required to attend. 02.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!!! We are excited announce an outstanding addition to the Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music faculty. From term 4 2020, Elliot Styche joins as a Vocal/Singing and Piano teacher.... Elliot has an illustrious and diverse career as a performer and musical director throughout the U.K particularly the West End, regional theatre and international touring. As an educator he has tutored at leading U.K. performing arts schools. In Australia, Elliot has been the Singing and Musical Director for Brent Street Academy. Please help us welcome Elliot to the UHCM and to the Upper Hunter!
