25.01.2022 Today I got to meet this divine puppy Penelope. Penny is a beautiful golden retriever puppy with eyes to melt your heart! Being a 4 month old puppy, Penelope just needed some guidance on the rules inside the house. I love working with puppies as they are just so eager to learn! And I get lots of puppy cuddles #puppytraining #goldenretriever #dogtraining #smartpuppy

25.01.2022 With Christmas just around the corner I have a few spots left for private in home lessons. From basic puppy training to behaviour management. If you need help with your pooch, please get in touch - call Sammy on 0450192171

24.01.2022 These two! Tinkerbell & Tonks are the best of friends! Which means DOUBLE TROUBLE! Their mum called me as these two cuties have a naughty habit of running away and not coming back when called. We worked on recall and also some basic obedience to help them understand what is expected of them. These two are seriously the sweetest dogs!... I almost put Tinkerbell in my bag and took her home See more

22.01.2022 Ahhh Little Biggie. So pure and innocent!

22.01.2022 Today's lesson with Vada was about teaching her engagement whilst on walks. Look at that focus! #staffylove #engagement #dogtraining #greatfocus #unleashedk9training #reactivedogs #leashskills #happypuppy

21.01.2022 Today i worked with this handsome dude. Seamus is a young maremma that thinks he rules the roost He has a bad habit of barking at everything and not listening to his owners. Working breeds especially need so much mental stimulation on a daily basis to get rid of alot of pent up energy. Today we worked on setting a bit more rules in the house as well as giving Seamus fun things to do during the day to tire his brain out.... Need help with your unruly pooch? Give us a call today to see how we can help you

20.01.2022 When your dog loves the car, it makes life so much easier! When your dog goes to scary places like the vet, they can associate the car with a bad experience. You can retrain them to love the car! Start by feeding them yummy treats in the car whilst it's not running, then build them up to the car being on but stationary, then take little drives up and down your street whilst reinforcing them for calm, relaxed behaviour. :)

20.01.2022 Today I finished our 3x lesson special package with these 2. These 2 are like 2 peas in a pod! We worked on basic obedience - would you believe Lilly (dogue) didn't know how to sit or drop?! Look at her now!! We also walked on loose leash walking so their mum could take them for a nice relaxing walk with out breaking an arm. #greatdane #doguedebordeaux #dogtraining

20.01.2022 Yesterday I had my final lesson with this gorgeous girl. Kyra was rescued from a local trade website from a breeder that didn't have use for her anymore. She came to her new home a big bag of nerves and she would spend her day huddled in the corner of the yard. She was terrified of everything; wind, loud noises, people, even her own shadow! After 3 lessons and alot of hours put in by her new owners, Kyra is a different dog! She confidently walks up to people to say hi, her ta...il is always wagging and she is even starting to play rough with her dad. Watching the transformation of a young broken dog into a happy and confident girl is one of the most rewarding things! See more

19.01.2022 99% of my clients do not understand what Positive reinforcement actually is. I see so many posts on Facebook from people saying things like "use a positive only trainer" ok.... so use a trainer that uses only positive reinforcement and positive punishment? Positive in the 4 quadrants of operant conditioning is positive as in adding a reinforcement or punishment. Negative is the subtracting of a punishment or reinforcement. Here is a great pic to help understand the 4 quadrants

17.01.2022 Dog obedience with some agility! #dogtraining #agility #jumping #labrador #bordercollie #cobberdog #staffy #advancedclass #unleashedk9training

17.01.2022 Just look at that staffy smile! Jessie is a young energetic pup that needed some training to help calm her down especially around her young human siblings. Staffys are such cool dogs to work with as they are such social butterflies that want to please their humans!

16.01.2022 Today i lost one of my own very suddenly and unexpectedly. I'm still coming to terms with it, so I apologise if I dont respond to messages or calls straight away. Thanks for your understanding RIP to my baby boy Ryker

16.01.2022 Crate training this beauty today

16.01.2022 For the past 6 weeks I have been training this guy and his family. We have worked on all the basic obedience skills, toilet training, environmental enrichment, crate training and how to be a well adjusted dog. Hulk is showing such great potential and thats because he has a dedicated family wanting to give him the best start to life. Training a puppy takes time and patience. If you put in the effort now you will be rewarded for a lifetime.

16.01.2022 Today i finished 3x lessons with Mr Oscar. Oscar had some anxiety issues aswell as reactivity towards people, cars and other dogs. We spent some time getting Oscar to be calm inside, upping his mental stimulation, teaching him some impulse control and how to walk nicely on leash. Today i took my boy Lachie to help work on Oscars dog reactivity. Oscar was a superstar!!!! He had a little bark at Lachie and then walked like an angel next to his mum! ... So proud of how far Oscar has come in such a short time! See more

15.01.2022 Zara & Bella working on drop stays under high distraction.

15.01.2022 Yesterday I worked with Koda - a young kelpie mix. Koda is extremely dog reactive, so much so that his mum struggles to walk him. We spent the lesson working on engagement with some distractions of other dogs. Reactive dogs aren't necessarily aggressive, they are just over aroused and frustrated.

12.01.2022 Today I got to spend time with this munchkin. We worked on leash training and getting Taco confident in the outside world

11.01.2022 Training the "through legs" with Mr Bear today. Bear needed some more complex skills to learn as he was getting too smart with the basic sits and drops. Being a German Shepherd, these guys are super smart and have such a willingness to learn!

11.01.2022 Teaching a dog to walk nicely on a lead doesn't just stop at that. Its about creating a relationship with your dog so they want to walk next to you, they want to check in with you, they want to be with you because the relationship you have with them is by far better than anything else in the world. If you have a relationship with your dog, you will have a friend for life

08.01.2022 Today I finished up 3 lessons with Mr Frankie. I took Lachie to help work on Frankie's over the top excitable behaviour when meeting other dogs. We did some walking exercises and impulse control (getting the dogs into a solid drop)

07.01.2022 Little Taco This dog has amazed me everytime I see him. From a tiny puppy to a confident adolescent. Taco's walking and focus has improved ten fold! I could not be prouder of how far this little dude has come! I'm a little bit jealous! #staffypuppy #confidencebuilding #jealous

06.01.2022 My heart is melting! How goddam cute is Mr Ziggy? Ziggy is a 10 week old German Shepherd puppy that just needs some training to make sure he is on the right track to be the best dog. And those ears!!! Look at those ears!!!

06.01.2022 Aspen & Mitch working on their engagement whilst out on walks. #siberianhusky #teameffort #dogtraining

05.01.2022 Today I met these 2 pocket rockets! Olivia & Greg are full of beans with no rules at home and will pull like freight trains out on walks. Today we worked on some house manners - sitting patiently before doors are opened, being invited in and place training. These 2 did so well in such a short session!

04.01.2022 Today I had my boy Lachie help me with Mr Hulk and introducing him to other dogs. Hulk was besotted by Lachie and they became the best of friends

04.01.2022 And to finish off my day with this cutie pie Little Taco is a 10 week old American Staffy pup with the CHEEKIEST attitude on him! Tacos parents called me because they want to get the best advice on training him to be the best dog he can be. The most important thing I told Tacos parents that they can do to give Taco the best start in life is EXPOSURE. Expose him to the world: bikes, kids, prams, dogs, cats, cars, birds, storms, planes - You name it!... Exposing a puppy to the world at their critical age sets the dog up for great success! And how goddam cute are those ears?! See more

03.01.2022 What a day crate training these 4 puppahs!
