19.01.2022 Posting on behalf of: TASMANIAN DOG TRAINING CLUB SCENTWORK MOCK TRIAL - SATURDAY 5TH DECEMBER 2020 VENUE: QUERCUS PARK, OAKS ROAD, CARRICK... Check in time will be 9.30 am to 10.00 am All four elements - interior, exterior, container, vehicle - will be offered, and handlers may enter at the level they choose. Novice elements will be tested on Birch, Advanced elements will be tested on Birch and Anise, Excellent elements will be tested on Birch, Anise and Clove. Masters level will not be offered. Entries are now open via the form below. Entries will close on Friday 27th November 2020. No late entries will be accepted. If we receive too many entries we may need to limit every dog to 2 elements only. So we are asking you to nominate your 2 preferred elements. There is a charge of $5 per element entered. ASAP after entries close we will advise you of which elements you are entered, and asking for prepayment. 18.01.2022 Saturday 31st Oct our club will be conducting a Rally-O trial. So one of our members has made some lovely masks for those that wish to wear one. Cost $4 each and from every sale $1 goes to the club.

08.01.2022 10-year-old Alex with his rescuers after an ordeal near Shipstern Bluff today. He became separated from his Dad after taking a wrong path, to be located by the ...Search and Rescue crew in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Tasmania three hours later. Special mention to volunteer tracking dog Gidget and her human Peter Hofto. They were dropped into the area Alex was last seen to see if they could locate him. A big thanks to everyone else involved in the effort!
