22.01.2022 We are sad to not be meeting face-to-face at United Kids this morning. Here is the bible story for this week. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO42dmFpj7k Jesus’ story about the vineyard workers made it clear: God gives freely to everyone. After all, He owns everything, and He can choose how He shares what is His. So instead of focusing on what we DON’T have, we need to adjust our attitude. We need to choose to look at what we DO haveand be thankful. The truth is, none of u...s DESERVE anything. It’s not ours in the first place. Everything we have, we have because God shared it with us. He is generous to everyone, including you. So if you’re feeling grumpy because someone else has more, remember ....Adjust your attitude. Let's pray: Dear God, thank You for being so generous toward us. Because You love us, You share with us. Help us see that You are generous to everyone. If we feel grumpy because someone got more, or because we feel like we DESERVE more, help us to adjust our attitude. We know we need to make the wise choice, so help us choose gratitude. We love You, and we pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen

17.01.2022 Having spoken to the majority of regular families, we will not be running United Kids until further notice. While you are able to spend time at home with your children I highly recommend opening your bible and reading together. Proverbs 22:6 ... 05.01.2022 When we selected the last learning series for United Kids, I never considered it would be so relevant to the predicament we are now in. Here is a refresher: Week 1: Trust in God instead of worrying. 1 Peter 5:7 NLT Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Week 2: I live only for God. Proverbs 29:25 NLT Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.... Week 3: When I'm afraid I'll fail, God will help me. Isaiah 41:13 NIV ...the Lord your God... says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Week 4: Fear can't stop me from doing what I need to do. 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT God has not given us a spirit of fear... but of power, love, and self-discipline In week 1 the kids made a Worry Box; now would be a great time to remind them to use the box and give their worries to God. In fact parents may like to use it too! We'll be reaching out to you again soon. May God bless you and your families during this time. Have faith and be loved by God.

02.01.2022 Stay in the habit of gratitude! How can you make it a habit of being grateful?

01.01.2022 Tonight at United Kids we learned that we can trust God by telling him our worries. We each decorated our own small box, wrote our worries on paper, then placed them in the box. The boxes were taken home and parents can encourage their children to use it whenever there's a worry. The take home sheet is available here https://open.life.church/items/194755-challenge-card-pdf
