08.01.2022 Introducing one of our newest Artists - Violetnight aka Jenni Dagley who will be joining us on Sunday from 8am for our January Art Collective in the Uki Hall. Jenni has been creating art in a wide range of mediums for over 30 years. Beginning in soundscapes as a dj for alternative clubs and chill spaces in the late 1980’s she then ventured into her own brand of art inspired by animal totem studies using feathers , bones and upcycled materials .... As a passionate environmentalist in 2013 she began creating reimagined hats and began selling them in Alt finery in Daylesford . Moving to the northern rivers in 2016 she has continued to make hats to empower and make poeple fell Beautiufl And Magnifcent in her creations. Facilitating a workshop at the Womens shed at Mullumbimby common gardens every women went home with amazing wearable art . 03.01.2022 Katherine Castle joins us for the first time this Sunday at the Uki Art Collective in the Uki Hall from 8am. Recently moved to the area, Katherine has worked full time as an artist for many years. She is best known for her Australian bird paintings and her 10 year Collaboration with the homeware company, Maxwell and Williams. Almost 2 million mugs, plates and other products have been sold around Australia and the world with her work on it.
