22.01.2022 Needing to borrow 8 bales of hay (sm, square ) for our upcoming Village Celebration for people to sit on at the front of the Stage in the Village Green. If any one can help would you mind if i pick them up in my trailor sat at 530 and bring back to you on the Sunday or if you can deliver that would be amazing. Thanks Uki Village .

17.01.2022 What an amazing weekend we had in our little country village. Starting with the Opening Night of Images of Uki Art Exhibition with the beautiful sounds from the kids at Aotaoma Steiner School and Nick Clow and Bernie Spiller a hall full of Art from over 80 artists delicious food from Pure Love sponsored by The Uki Supermarket and complimented with lovely wines sponsored by Mount Warning Hotel. Saturday was kids morning and the Little Ponies from Little Pony Tales stole the show. Music rocked in the afternoon and into the night. 15.01.2022 the count down begins. this weekend uki celebrates being a village......thank you to our amazing business sponsors who believe in us and the cool hip hop people at Happy Herbs headed by the one and only Ray Thorpe and his incredible team who have once again given us much needed funds to pay for our local musicians and the expenses that accumulate without funding to make our upcoming Village Celebration the success it will be. Thanks Laura for making this happen. We are also looking forward to putting your basket of goodies together for our raffle.

14.01.2022 Hi all It’s with great regret that The Ukitopia Festival won’t be happening this year and we thank everyone who made it happen last year. The Images of Uki Art Exhibition is still going ahead as a stand alone event on October 16th -18th with the theme bring Different Types of View which will Be a Covid Safe Event in the Village of Uki. 14.01.2022 Part of our program this week is all about having fun so we have created Uki's got talent and Spontaneous Random Acts of Ridiculousness Hosted by The Magic Theatre's Imagination Playgrounds and Ukitopia. We are looking for more people who would like to "give it a go" and get up on stage and have fun!!! if you don't want to do that but want to be a little spontaneous - contact us to register [email protected] The Ministry invites you to put on your most ridiculous o...utfit ( underwear on the outside, funny man masks, oversized body parts and unusual pets are encouraged) and flash mob the village green for 5 ridiculous minutes at 11am sharp on Saturday the 14th of September. Your job is to be as ridiculous as possible and pay us $5 to do so. You will be critiqued by our highly qualified judges, well educated and practised in nonsense, who will award 1st, 2nd, 3rd and runners up awards. You will receive fabulous prizes and our brave and dedicated fireys will receive all the proceeds! Has there EVER been a better reason to be ridiculous? Here at the ministry of Spontaneous Random Acts of Ridiculousness we take our job of being ridiculous very seriously. Silly, playful, joyous, funny, nonsensical and wacky behaviour is accepted and delighted in.

09.01.2022 Looking forward to our Village Celebration in our gorgeous Village Uki full of lots of fun filled entertainment for everyone. Starting with the Opening of our Annual Art Exhibition - Images of Uki on the Friday night at 6pm being a free event running all weekend with the Peoples Choice Award announced on Sunday @ 2pm wrapping up the 3 day Exhibition. Saturday - starting with a Yoga Class from 8am then lots of fun for the kids with The Magic Theatre's Imagination Playground ...9-12 followed by Uki's Got Talent(all ages) . From 2 join us for a feast of local flavours from amazing caterers whilst relaxing to the sounds of a superb line up of local music. Enjoy a quality beverage at our pop-up bar showcasing Tweed hand crafted products and enjoy the ambience of the marketplace. 08.01.2022 A big thank you to our local pub - not really just a pub but a state of the art hotel - Mount Warning Hotel that has dug deep and once again has sponsored our upcoming Village Celebration Ukitopia and Images of Uki Art Exhibition and we are so grateful as a local business to get behind the community and make this event successful. If you haven't visited this very cool Hotel nestled at the base of Mount Warning with the view of our beautiful mountain from the balcony then you are in for a pleasant surprise. After the old wooden pub burnt down 5 years ago we were luck to have this amazing place where we hang out and enjoy. Come visit and see what all the fuss is about and its a family owned business.
