20.01.2022 Good day everyone The Johane villagers in Nkayi District, Zimbabwe holds an annual cultural themed home design competition. The event is open to all members of the local community. They decorate their hand made kitchens and also showcase their creativity and hand painting skills using a variety of local clay soils in exterior paintings of their traditional huts. This is a way of preserving the local culture and it also creates unity and harmony in the community. It als...o promotes the importance of working together. The materials used in the hut building and decoration are eco friendly and minimises damage on the environment. We are kindly appealing for help to buy plates, pots, water containers and other things essential stuff that can be used at rural homes. These items are used as prizes for participating and for competition winners. Your donations will be greatly appreciated.
