The group also includes Gleeman Truck Parts, Coburg Truck Parts, Universal Truck Wreckers and Shepparton Motor Panel. The UKW operations are currently undertaken in the following locations. Shepparton, Brisbane, Townsville, with operations in Melbourne. The business is based on the supply of new and used parts and components and late model used equipment imported from various sources overseas. The major focus is on Komatsu and Hitachi. We are an expanding company with a long term commitment to our industry and our staff. The Role We are seeking to appoint an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter with excellent organisation skills and leadership qualities who is willing to go the extra mile to help develop sales in our Brisbane and Townsville branches. This role will focus on a broad range of sales and management responsibilities, including: Assisting with day to day transactions. Contributing ideas to strengthen and expand our business. Establishing personal communication and effective relationships with major accounts. Remaining informed and responsive to market developments. Ensuring a consultative and positive team environment Preparation of external and internal customer sales quotations. Follow up and conversion of quotations into sales orders. Interpretation of customer's parts and component requirements by use of electronic parts manuals. Share equal responsibility in increasing team productivity by showing initiative and communicating effectively. Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team. Willingness to learn and to grow professionally. You will be well presented, articulate and experienced in earthmoving parts. You will be working in an environment where ownership, accountability and responsibility are valued.
