19.01.2022 I have had a few phone calls this morning asking whether I will remain open during this crisis. Luckily, I work from home so it will be business as usual for me. If you call I may just have kids screaming in the background (sorry in advance) as I will be keeping my kids home from school as of today. At this stage, there are no changes to conveyancing - thank goodness for PEXA and online conveyancing!... Take care everyone...

09.01.2022 2019 is here and we are ready! Almost all our settlements are now done electronically via PEXA and it is such a breeze to use for not only us but our clients. Instead of running around a day before settlement getting bank cheques issued and delivered it is now a simple transfer of funds into an online account. The property is then instantaneously registered into the purchasers name following settlement.... Also when selling a property, the funds are cleared into your account on the day of settlement - no more waiting 3 business days for funds to clear. It is a win win system for everyone! Long gone are the days of attending settlements at SAI Global in Sydney CBD to personally hand over documents in exchange for bank cheques. Those were well and truely the good old days when hundreds of people were packed into 1 room yelling out trying to find the person they needed to. Heres to online conveyancing for 2019!!
