21.01.2022 WELCOME DR KATE GIBSON With a background in critical care, Dr Gibson is looking forward to working at our practice and getting to know her new patients. Having spent time at Shoalhaven, Bega and Wollongong Hospitals and visited the South Coast region often, she is looking forward to settling in the local area and enjoying the beach, fishing and horse riding with her husband and two young children. Dr Gibson has joined the Ulladulla Endoscopy and Medical Centre after completin...g her medical training and working in Melbourne and Canberra. Dr Gibson completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at ANU in 2010 and attained her Graduate Certificate in Clinical Ultrasound at the University of Melbourne. She has worked at Canberra, Queanbeyan and Calgary Hospitals, mainly in ICU and anaesthetics and is now completing her general practice training in Ulladulla. Dr Gibson will also be working as an anaesthetist alongside Dr Kevin Le in the UE&MC Day Hospital. Her anaesthesia training has been accredited by the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA). With a particular interest in women’s health and sexual health, Dr Gibson has completed the National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning Alliance Australia (FPAA). 13.01.2022 ULLADULLA COVID TESTING The covid clinic in the South Street car park Ulladulla will be open for free testing from 8.45am-5pm from Monday-Friday. Please self isolate now if you have been at the locations listed below or if you have symptoms. Remain at home and please book your appointment at the Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic online at hotdoc.com.au or call 44555422 to book. We will have three testing rooms open. Walk-ins are welcome (Medicare card required) but you may ...have to wait longer. The pop-up Covid 19 testing clinic is located in the South Street car park behind Anytime Fitness. We suggest waiting until Monday to be tested so as not to cause congestion at Milton Hospital today (Sunday). PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT NSW Health is alerting the public to the following locations on the South Coast visited by a person who tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday 19/9/2020. Anyone who attended the following venues for a least one hour during the following times is considered to be a close contact and is being directed to get tested and isolate for 14 days. They must stay isolated for the entire period, even if a negative test result is received: Milton Ulladulla Ex Servos Club 12 September, 2pm-6.15pm Carlo’s Italian Restaurante Bar & Seafood, Ulladulla 12 September, 8pm-9.30pm Bannisters Pavilion Rooftop Bar & Grill, Mollymook 13 September, 12.30pm-2.15pm Anyone who attended the above venues at these times for less than one hour is considered a casual contact. Casual contacts must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. Early investigations into the source of infection indicate the case may have acquired the virus at Liverpool Hospital. Contact tracing is underway. The person reports having the COVIDSafe App, which is being used to help identify contacts. 09.01.2022 COMMUNITY THANK YOU We would like to say a huge thank you to our community members for coming out in force last week to get tested at the Covid clinic. It really helps to protect everyone. We have recorded zero Covid-19 cases in Ulladulla, which is fantastic news! The free testing clinic is open Monday-Wednesday 9am to 1pm and anyone with flu-like symptoms should get tested to keep our community safe.

03.01.2022 COVID TESTING UPDATE Since the Ulladulla Respiratory Clinic opened in July, a total of 2372 people have been tested. All tests have returned a negative results. 1229 or 57.5% of those tested were female and 902 or 42.2% were male. With more visitors expected during the school holidays, and with the easing of restrictions, people are strongly encouraged to get tested if they show any symptoms.
