24.01.2022 LOCKDOWN LOCOMOTION Come and move with me in the park. Tuesday and Thursday, 10.30am at Willunga Close Park, Ulladulla. (my street!)... Yoga, beginner to advanced! If you know my flows you'll know there be lots of options to fly, lots of standing balances, strength work and some good, old fashioned stretching. 05.01.2022 Backbends/Heart openers = tension for me. This pose #wildthing #camatkarasana Is roughly translated to "the estatic unfolding of the enraptured heart" and is about as backbendy as I like to go. Too many backbends make me cry. Yep. Literally leak water from my eyes. In full #wheelpose or #urdhvadanurasana I have such a hard time talking myself into even attempting it as I know I have tension before setting up and it's a struggle to hold. And as one of my students pointed out ...last night, after I'd taken them through the pose without doing it, it makes me cry (I was surprised he'd remembered me mentioning this minthd ago!) Backbends = Heart Opener. Hokey. Maybe. I know I need to let go. Open my heart up to people. Trust myself more.
