22.01.2022 Ultegra and Haslin recently reached practical completion of the construction of Endeavour Energys 132kV Transmission Feeder, 21L, at South Marsden Park. Linking existing Marsden Park Zone Substation with the newly constructed Sth Marsden Zone Substation, Feeder 21L construction consisted of; - 638m of HDD... - 2700m of open trenching - 4 Joint Bays, and - installation of phase conductor, fibre communications and associated earthing systems Completed within budget and ahead of target milestones, it is a credit to all involved. 12.01.2022 Ultegra, with their joint venture construction partner Haslin, has finalised works associated with the Catherine Park 11kV underground feeder construction. Over 11 kilometres of 11kV conductor and ducts were installed through a combination of open trenching, existing ducts and horizontal directional drilling. Despite the challenges associated with excavation and drilling in close proximity to live utilities, the project was completed defect-free, ahead of schedule and under budget. Well done to all involved!

09.01.2022 Ultegra and Haslin staff have completed Stage One works at Prospect Zone Substation, successfully installing one of two 33kV 25MVA Power Transformers. These works, undertaken on behalf of Endeavour Energy, consisted of bund and blast wall construction, HV duct install, power transformer install, HV cable install and termination, and retrofitting the new apparatus to the existing protection and control systems of the substation. Full credit to the project team in safe delivery considering the constraints of the site; working within a live, operational site around redundant asbestos ducts, footings and various underground cables.

06.01.2022 UHJV staff are making great progress on South Marsden Park Zone Substation. To date, the team has completed 132kV jointing in Joint Bay 1, construction of the 132kV outdoor switchyard, and wiring of the 11kV circuit breakers. Cable pulls and control panel wiring are also on schedule. Well done to all involved!

05.01.2022 Ultegra are in the final stages of installing 132kV Feeder 21L for South Marsden Park Zone Substation. These works, undertaken on behalf of Endeavour Energy, consisted of 3,000m of duct installation, 300m HDD, construction of 5 joint bays, cable haul and terminations within joint bays and ceiling end structures located at either end of the feeder. Full credit to the project team for safe delivery of another high quality project.

04.01.2022 Ultegras Bulk Streetlighting Maintenance staff hard at work! Our team has replaced 50,000 streetlights to date across Essential Energys network, covering an area of over 700,000km. Coffs Harbour and Nambucca council areas are due for completion in March, 2019.

03.01.2022 Last week, Ultegra and Essential Energy Streetlighting Program staff had the opportunity to tour Gerard Lightings facility in Padstow, NSW. Our team got to experience first-hand some of the innovative and sustainable Smart Lighting technology Gerard has to offer. Exciting times ahead for public lighting in Australia!
