25.01.2022 Love my Ultimate construction technique!! Voodoo wing and tail. 600g total ! Wing at 523 and pair if tails at 77. I wonder if he would mind if Linda drives her car over them to show just how strong they are he would never know. Sorry Eddie, couldn’t resist

25.01.2022 Test flight done in perfect Qld weather. Flew very nice. Happy !! Can’t wait to race it in 2 weeks now with new prop that also showed lots of promise. Thanks Andrew for the long trip up to help out today

22.01.2022 New Q40/F3T just added to web site. Get your orders in before the waiting list gets too long ( it’s becoming very popular already ! )

21.01.2022 So as part of the development in the Ultimate construction of my wings and tails I did cut a couple open to see all was going to plan. So what better thing to do than have Linda drive over one of the 540g F3D wings to demonstrate toughness. This video is 3rd time driving over same part. Not a mark or damage are all !! Enjoy the video, but as they say. Don’t do this at home ( unless it’s one of my new Ultimate wings )

21.01.2022 Congratulations Leo !! Nice to see the next generation of pilots coming up !

20.01.2022 Great race on the weekend. Super competitive but still friendly. New record time with a 54.17. Backed up with multiple 55’s. F3E is alive and well.

19.01.2022 How lucky are we during COVID-19 that we are still able to enjoy our hobby of Pylon Racing and have sponsors willing to support us in that effort. A spare week...end has become available at the Maryborough Aero Model Club due to a cancellation of their Warbirds Visit. So let's have a F3T (also known as Q40) ONLY weekend being our most favourite class of racing. Sixteen Rounds of F3T Racing on offer over two days. Semi Finals and Final Shootouts. $700 in CASH on OFFER. How GOOD is that. $60 entry fee on site or $50 for online entries pre-race meet. Download a copy of entry form and bank details. https://1drv.ms/w/s!AoMsPRi5oWUSmCmv3xV0pI2nE4Ee?e=VlYSTN Of course we will need persons to man the course. Consider bringing along others that maybe interested in pylon racing or just model planes that go fast and tempt them to attend and learn the idiosyncrasies of what we do going around three poles in more or less than sixty seconds. Thanks to the Sponsors and Event coordinator for the fore thought to provide an alternative weekend of pylon racing. Get your entries in via the details attached to this post. Did I not mention the dates. They are the 10th and 11th October 2020.

15.01.2022 New F3E ready to test fly. My first T Tail for electric racing. Slightly more battery room than the conventional model has , new tail with tiplets too. Flight report soon.

15.01.2022 Been a busy 2 weeks doing F3E models. So pleased I have moved into the 21st Century and doing the new ultimate construction technique. Got the prepreg carbon cure cycles all sorted with the computer controlled ovens and getting some stunning work out. New T Tail Ultimate F3E keeping me busy. The orange one in the photo came out with wing at 202g, tail 18.2g and body at 102g. Could not have come close to this 2 years ago. All the hard work and experiments ( and my share of failures ) is paying off now. So happy.

11.01.2022 So my caller said my colour choice on current F3E was a bit dull making it harder to fly and call for. Maybe this will be bright enough to help. Wing @ 207g tail 19g. Race her in December with new Ultimate F3E motors I’m working on. More info in them later.
