25.01.2022 So what do we do at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown? Servicing, repairs, maintenance, RWCs, tyres, brakes, electrical just to name a few. Your work horse, your daily, your new car, your old car, your motor bike, your pride and Joy, even your classic! Would have been a shorter list to say what we don't do. 24.01.2022 Its was a long day, a mix up at Bridgestone resulting in the wrong tyres coming didn't help. Thanks so much for Simone for dashing out to Derimut and back to sort it all out. But Tim's little BMW cabriolet is serviced, new front brakes, new front tyres and washed, all ready for some safe summer top down cruises! Enjoy Tim.

22.01.2022 We are still here to keep the wheels of industry turning. A couple of commercial vehicles in today. The orange VW of Cameron is in for it's due service as he keeps it up to scratch. The Mercedes dropping in with " I can hear a noise in the brakes, could you please inspect for me". The condition of the tyres first shocked me and the driver. Then came the brakes. When asked who did the brakes he said "they are not there any more they closed up". After showing him the brakes we both know why, they weren't fitted correctly both sides and now rubbing on the wheel, aaaaarrrr the noise. We are open during lockdown so please keep yourself a safe and book in for a safety check at least if your unsure.

22.01.2022 It's good news at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown, we have our "new" 4th hoist installed and operational. 2 clear span 4 tonne hoists and two 3 tonne hoists. This means we can get you in quicker for appointments and get the car back to you faster as well. It also helps us accommodate break downs and RWC inspections into our normal bookings too. We had a full book today but Robbie broke down in AVAYAK yesterday needing a new alternator and overdue service. We were able to get it in and it will be finished tonight! The reception heater is on a nice and warm 24 degrees and I am more than happy to make you a hot latte if you need to wait.

22.01.2022 We would like to wish everybody a safe and happy Easter from Ultimate Automotive. Wow this is something we have never experienced before. Not having Easter celebrations with family is going to be hard for us all. Stay safe, communicate with your family and friends on line. This will pass soon. But at Ultimate Automotive we still are working, we are an essential service. We were even open today! Some isolated family time for us now and yes we are open again Tuesday. 21.01.2022 We have some freedom and how good does that feel. "You dont know what you've got till it's gone" as the song goes. But getting out the boat, jet ski, horse float, motorbike trailer and so on to have some long awaited fun to find out in just 10 minutes the trailer bearings are shot is not fun. That's exactly what happened to Zac, but we are here at Ultimate to save his day. If you are planning to get your toys out, lock downs are off and the weather is great, please book the trailer in with us for a service before you go. The best way to have the best get away.

20.01.2022 My sleigh has been put away for the year now.( a green ute with red seats is about as close as I get to a sleigh) We would like to take this chance to thank everybody for their support in yet another year. From suppliers who helped us day to day then stepped up to difficult jobs to source that "cant get part" to the people behind the scenes like Yvonne in the office and of course all of our very loyal clients some of who we have had from day 1, 20 years ago. 18.01.2022 Well here we all are in both strange and difficult times. Ultimate Automotive are still open and will continue to be through lockdown as an essential service provider. We are practising all the Covid-19 safety procedures. We have sanitiser for your hands and also to clean the car contact points before and after we work on it. These procedures are to keep all of us from the spread. We ask that you call to make appointments and are in and out as quick as possible, contact free.... No we can not have any waiting sorry. We can help with car collection and drop off within a radius but restrictions prevent us offering a ride home as we would normal do. 18.01.2022 We have had an alarming 3 cars come in this week with tyres that were beyond dangerous! The drivers of these 3 cars had no idea the safety issue they created for themselves and other families on the road as they didnt know their tyres were so bad. The thing they did all have in common is they were all overdue for a service and safety inspection. Thankfully they didnt have an accident and the cars all have quality new tyres fitted by us at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown. If you are overdue for a service but are unable to get it done, please book in with us for a safety inspection to make sure the car is not dangerous, in most cases this is free. 17.01.2022 As we still continue to support the Doreen CFA with our membership donations in Ultimate Automotive Classics club, and will continue to for the whole year of 2020. I just want to update people on my Run4Blue efforts. Last night on a run with my 3 sons I hit the 400klm mark I set myself to reach. I have ran the month of May in run4blue to honour the 4 Police officers who never made it home from work in April and also to remember my brother in-law Peter Howard who was the forme...r Captain of Mernda CFA who never made it home from work in December. I have also been given the honor of running in the second leg of the run4blue 159.485 memorial relay on Sunday. I will carry the batten of Ironman Constable Josh Prestney. I really appreciate all the support I have been shown, with messages, likes and donations to the page. Police Legacy have said that all moneys raised in the 159.485 group that I am in will be going directly to the families. 15.01.2022 So the kids are on a school break? Not us at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown, we are on deck! It's full steam ahead here and great time to get your car checked over or serviced while your not doing the school run. Pick up and drop off from the local areas is not a problem at all, we can even collect the car from you if you please. Can always enjoy a latte on us while you wait in reception. As we at Ultimate are practicing the best procedures to keep us and you safe can you please ring us before you come in so we know your coming and can get you in then out as quick as possible. 14.01.2022 This morning I completed the 159.485klms to honour and thank Lynette, Kevin, Glen and Josh. My run4blue is not over yet. My aim is to now run another 160klms in the name of my brother in law Peter, who never came home for work in December. 160klms for run4blue for everybody who never came home from work like we all should. Thank you once again to who have supported the every day hero page I created.

14.01.2022 Last year in May I did run4blue. After the 4 officers were killed on the freeway it touched a cord with me having just lost my brother in law Peter Howard in a work place road accident December 19, 2019. The accident was not his fault. Peter was also a former Captain of Mernda CFA. I ran 452klms and raised over $2000. Separately last year I also raised and donated over $2000 to Doreen CFA through the Ultimate Automotive Classics club. This year I am doing Run4blue again, I am... aiming to break my 452klms (if the body agrees ). This year I am on the Fighting PTSD Vicpol team to raise money protecting our protectors. In 3 days I have so far ran 66 klms.)up date i ran another 13klms this morning!) I have left the link here, if you choose to support no matter how small remember this. 10.01.2022 We get asked " will your hiost pick up my work truck? Its heavy" and the answer is yes. We have 2, 4 tonne clear span hoists so most work vehicles and 4WDs are not an issue. The other two hosts are 3 tonne and can also lift most 4WDs and SUVs. Stay safe at work and have your work vehicle serviced and safety checked on time at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown.

We are now permitted to take service and general maintenance or repairs appointments again. If you require any work please call the workshop Monday on 9464 1140 for a booking. 09.01.2022 Heading into the festive season and car is under pressure. Kids sports, wind ups, family, friends and work wow wee it's like a taxi that doesnt stop. With all those klms ahead and many more at night then usual ahead I ask you this, do your head lights appear yellow and shine like candles in the wind? We can fix this up in no time and isn't not expensive at all. We can resurface and polish 90% of lights back there former glory for $75. Maybe time to call us, or call past. Stay safe over the crazy period and dont take unnecessary risks like driving with poor lighting.

07.01.2022 Simone was having trouble with those enormous tyres spraying mud and stones up, damaging her horse float. So in we step to supply and fit a set of genuine BMW mudflaps at a fraction of what the dealers quoted. They look quite good I must say, lets hope they solve the problem. Thanks again Simone. Bemma me up??? Maybe I won't give up my day job just yet!

We had this Bon Trike (half VW Beetle, half motorcycle) in this week for a RWC and to sort out some electrical issues. Remember we are licensed RWC testers for light vehicles, motorcycles and LPG powered vehicles.

From RWC inspections and repairs to pass RWC. New clutch, service and Pirelli run flat tyres on the diesel Mini. Annual safety check on Robin's beautiful Stang. Club Permit RWC on the Capri. Service and brakes on a few and then peicing together Clive's HZ 253 ute full restoration. This HZ ute looks liked it rolled off the production line yesterday.

03.01.2022 Hey there everyone. I have put my feet in my mouth literally and signed up to do run4blue this May as support for the 4 officers that died at work last week. With what happened in our family 19th of December just gone and Peter my brother in law not making it home from work due to the actions of another driver, The Victorian Police have been a total rock for us in many ways. So time to give back the best way I know, running! If people can give some support to the families of ...the officers taken that would be fantastic. Only do what you can afford please and if that is not at all in these times I understand. If any of my sporting friends want to drop a few klms with me, sure thing! The aim is for 159.495 klms in total (I am sure I will do more, a bit crazy like that) 27.417 klms for LSC Lynette Taylor, 40.942 kms for SC Kevin King, 45.688 klms for C Glen Humphris and 45.438 klms for C Josh Prestney. The Aussie green sleigh is locked away and the blue Swedish Bollard jammed in place (and you all thought I wouldn't find a use for the Saab) We at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown would like to take the time to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas with your family and friends. We also thank you all for your kind words, support and well wishes during our family tragedy last Thursday, that took our brother in law Peter Howard's life in Miller st Epping doing his job.

02.01.2022 Your car or SUV needs a timing belt? Not a problem at all. We make sure we do the complete job correctly at Ultimate Automotive Thomastown. This 4WD needed a faulty seal replaced at the same time as well as a water pump. All completed running like a dream.
