24.01.2022 Great to work for a customer that's been following us on FB for over a year. Always different doing random work, never 100% same as the last. Spray trowel random knock down with 2 passes of mid black staining. 680x680x6mm tile pattern as always with our work to try and hide the saw cuts within the pattern itself. ... 24.01.2022 Morning Upper Caboolture! 81m2 Concretimber to start for a Thursday finish.

23.01.2022 35m2 Concretimber in grey tones and a basic spray for a small pad around the side in COAL with a light fleck of Natural replacing the termite barrier plugs keeping it simple and smart. A couple of easy days in Tingalpa ready for 2 days in Augustine Heights starting tomorrow.

22.01.2022 81m2 of Concretimber completed in Upper Caboolture. 300mm wide planks to match with the house timber tiles. Also managed to line them up with the grout lines inside and get a similar colour too. Natural browns with matte Concrete Colour Systems sealer.

20.01.2022 On the grind in North Lakes. 45m2 paint grind followed by spray trowel pattern later today.

19.01.2022 Finally our "pawfect" project is finished!. Full grind back of the wet stencil by the team at Moreton Bay Floors then we came and did our bit inc chasing the dog around the whole estate for about 30mins before she ran home all over the wet base trowel coat. Main: Blue Mountain, flecks Graphite and Natural.

16.01.2022 About time.... 3 days later.... due to cold and a mid morning storm this job we could do in 1 day summer time with our efficient crew but with this time of year and rain it doesn't matter how efficient your team can be... it just takes time! 12.01.2022 Repeat customer today at Upper Coomera. After completing over 135m2 Concretimber in June we went back today to finish off 26m2 of pathways to match best as possible to our previous work. Not the ideal substrate to work with but as usual we made the customer aware of any possible issues and "the crappy bits" we had to try and work with. ... Came up good especially looking back at the before pictures.

12.01.2022 Nice to get some customer photos sent in of a recent timber effect we completed in Tingalpa the other week.

12.01.2022 Fact of the day: Sealer makes such a big difference to colours! We often get customers at home while we are working and see the process, while watching get a little concerned thinking the colour is wrong! The colours all come together at the end when the dried spray is sealed as in this photos and the correct colour is achieved. ... This photo is GRAPHITE. With this in mind you can see how hard it can be for us when we try out new processes or hand staining to see what the end result might look like. Experience and knowledge helps but we also like to say "winging it" is also part of being creative and without that we would not be able to achieve some of the work we do without a bit of experimentation and finger crossing!

04.01.2022 Good morning Bribie Island. 40m2 Concretimber over the next 2 days in brown tones.

03.01.2022 58m2 patio/2nd driveway completed today in Thornlands. 6mm grout line 580mm pattern incorporated into the saw cuts. Graphite base with a 80% coverage of Concrete Colour Systems Natural with multiple in house natural toned flecks for more of a natural stone appearance to complement the customers pool area and stepping stones.

03.01.2022 The Ultimate take on an "Ashlar" random stone pattern using Concrete Colour Systems new French grey! Loving it! 3D pattern effect dropping off the pool slab, 6mm grout for pool due to saw cuts and 12mm grout for patio due to the exposed aggregate tool joints. Natural grout, French Grey main, Graphite and off White flecks for a natural stone feel. Check out the before and afters of this mismatched exposed and plain concrete we ground and filled to create a new space for these great home owners over the last 2 days.
