It was found by beachcombers who now plan to restore he...r much to the delight of her former owner. Peter Drybe was driving along Henderson Bay in New Zealand's far north when he spotted the boat. 02.01.2022 COMMUNITY TO THE RESCUE Another big day on the Lower Darling River with the installation of another aerator, the biggest yet!! Aquna Sustainable Murray Cod (Mur...ray Cod Aust) generously provided the aerator. OzFish supporters, Mason Pratt provided the generator and Graeme McCrabb and his mates came to the rescue on transport and installation. Once delivered to the river bank, it was all hands and crane on deck. Graeme and Co swung into action, wiring, plumbing, rigging and securing the unit into the river. They had numerous problems to overcome, but three hours later they fired up the genie, hit the switch and much needed oxygen was pumping into the water. OzFish Founder and CEO Craig Copeland said It’s a great feeling when passionate locals see a problem in their community, rally together and take positive action. Installing one aerator into a river is a huge task, let alone five.
