22.01.2022 Yaay. We're almost there! We re-open on Wednesday 28th. Class sizes will be limited due to restrictions, so please book in ASAP to ensure you get a spot. Regular class times, and we'll add extra if needed. Thankyou to everyone who supported the Zoom sessions and home programs. Much appreciated. Can't wait to see you back in the gym!

22.01.2022 Limited spots left for Term 1. All term classes start back Feb 1st. Get in quick if you'd like to join a small group class with programming that works for you! Inbox me for more info or to book your spot. (Bookings are for the term, no casual classes.)

21.01.2022 Josh Hillis nails it in this piece. Well worth the read.

19.01.2022 Tuesday's 9.30am and 6pm. Virtual Group Session. If you would like to join in, message me for the private Zoom ID and password and payment info.

18.01.2022 Another drill kids and adults can do inside. Mirroring each others moves, connecting everything to work together. Great for core, shoulders and will certainly get you warmed up!

18.01.2022 Massive shoutout and congrats to Steph for completing SkiTober. Each week of October she completed a challenge set out by SkiTober creator @Jane Erbacher (and trust me, these challenges were not easy!) Today she joined the crew at at @mvmnt365crossfitwarrnambool for the last workout of the challenge. She completed a max effort 100m ski then a 2km ski. She finished with an improvement in her ski times! I'm super proud of her for the effort she has put in the past few months. She completed a half marathon on the ski erg, now SkiTober and in 4 weeks we're having a crack at a marathon together as a team event. 42km of skiing. Well done Steph! And thanks to @powered_by_dzl @petajolley @otoolek and the MVMNT365 crew for having us!

14.01.2022 Tonight we added some extra sanitation measures on top of what we're already doing. Thanks to Dionne at Movement 365 in Warrnambool for lending us her machine to try out. We're looking to do this on-going. It's safe and easy to do, and it's just another measure to help protect us all where we can.

12.01.2022 This was a really cool chat I had last week with Kyl Reber for The Covid Conversations series. There's currently 5 other conversations and they are really worth having a listen to.

10.01.2022 Today, just for fun, Steph, Hanna and I thought we'd do a team effort half marathon on the ski erg(s) via Zoom with Jane Erbacher. We had Jane's zoom set up on one screen then a video call between the 3 of us to push each other, on another screen. We completed it in under an hour. We were a hot and sweaty happy team at the end of it! Thanks girls. .

10.01.2022 This is fantastic. If you have issues with emotional eating, or would like to work on skills to eat better during COVID lockdown 2.0, I highly recommend Josh Hillis new book. What I love about this post is in the comments Josh is asked about eating something sweet, just because it tastes good. Something I think we've all thought (and done). His reply is great and shows why he is one of the best when it comes to understanding behaviour around eating and how to do a quick self check to get us back on track.

08.01.2022 WELCOME TO LOCKDOWN 3.0! Fingers crossed, this circuit breaker lockdown will only be the expected 5 days. With that, it means no in-person classes Mon, Tues or Wed. If you would like to do a zoom class on Monday at 9.30am and/or Wednesday at 6pm please send me a message by Sunday 1pm and I’ll confirm and send out a zoom link. PT clients, please let me know if you’d like to do your regular PT session via Zoom and I’ll adapt the program. ... When you message please just remind me what (if any) equipment you have at home. Should the lockdown extend past the 5 days, we can add more Zoom classes to the schedule. Enjoy your extra long weekend at home!

05.01.2022 Jack wanted something fun to do, so we set up the cones. 2 mins, each cone is numbered 1, 2 & 3. When he took off to cone 1 he had to use his left leg to take off. Cone 3 was right leg. Cone 2 was whatever was natural or his choice. Run up, touch cone and run backwards to starting spot and keep jogging spot until told to go again. Call out numbers randomly. *If you're doing alone to work on footwork and fitness, you can go back to centre, do 10 starjumps or burpees, run on ...the spot for 20 high knees before taking off again. Rest for 1-2 mins after round 1. Round 2 complete using side shuffles. Rest 1-2 mins. Round 3, mix up forward/back and side shuffles. Repeat through twice if you want to get your heart rate up and work on conditioning.

05.01.2022 Update on face coverings as of Sunday night. Current clients, please check the client Facebook group where this is posted if you need to read it more clearly.

05.01.2022 This. All of it.

04.01.2022 If you're after a podcast to listen to this summer, here's a good one! https://open.spotify.com/episode/5mx1TIxLYKHod9hJHtJXsj

04.01.2022 The countdown to re-opening begins!

03.01.2022 I often include YTWL's in certain rehab programs and for shoulder health. This a a great demonstration on how to perform the exercises.

02.01.2022 We recorded this a week or so ago. You can choose the exercises (shuffles, run on the spot, mountain climbers, vertical jumps, hops on one leg etc). With many students now doing schooling at home, this is a great one to do for a quick break and to recharge to help focus.
