For those that may be new to #dvrtultimatesandbag #training setting yourself up in a bilateral stance and shouldering the @ultimatesandbag into place is a safe way to start. When your executing....... - Remember to actively grab the USB and pull it apart - Arc Press / Push and pull the USB around your head not your head around the USB. - Use your feet by squeezing the ground to assist with creating the chain of #power to press the #ultimatesandbag overhead. 20.01.2022 So awesome to hear the success stories and how the DVRT Ultimate Sandbag Fitness system can play such a big role on working with injuries. Team 4EVERfitness ________________________________________________This month was a challenge with 214km run for the month. We havent seen those kind of kms since our ultra campaign. This run was a great way to finish as it felt extremely comfortable. I know mad saying running is comfortable but over the last 3 weeks I was dealing with ...medial shin pain shin splints as I worked through a progressive overload phase. The #athlete in me said work through it youll be ok, but the #therapist in me said lets talk about this. Understanding the hunger of the athlete and working together allows the results to be achieved. The obvious thing to do would be to treat the calves, stretch and rest. Treating the site of injury needed to be explored further. Yes I treated the area but I dig deeper with my strength and really got my body working, my feet talking and Happy Sunday!

Challenging the #humanbody to step out of its comfort zone to create another layer of #strengthtraining and #power . Snatch would be our starting point....pulling the handles apart, grabbing the ground with your feet, holding that nice #hiphinge and one explosive motion overhead.... Snatch - Overhead Squat starts adding a layer of difficulty asking the #corestrength to really engage Snatch - Reverse #lunges brings in the ability to resist #frontalplane #stability and #balance #rotational snatch we know real power comes from not only resisting rotation but producing power in multiple directions. Teaching the feet to engage with the ground whilst adding rotational power can only allow your body to become even better.

14.01.2022 The day we filmed this #sled #workout #mothernature made it extremely difficult throwing a hollowing wind at us. What we show in these videos is how we can create and resist force whilst moving through space. Even thou we are rotating the #ultimatesandbag around our body the goal of these #lunges is to resist #rotations and the force of the ultimate sandbag for improved #core and #stability . ... To improve your stability, we need to do exactly that......be stable in an unstable environment. When we wobble around crazily our body gets confused and tends to forget about what needs to stabilise. Happy Saturday!

05.01.2022 Awesome to see goals being kicked and new goals being created. Client success story! A little over 18 months ago we met @jason_king1982 after having trouble with #lowbackpain . ... In conjunction with his #osteopath @ogosh_osteo he has made a remarkable change. In the time we have worked with Jason his first goal was to get strong enough to head to Ireland 2019 for a #golf trip playing off a single figure handicap. It was just a couple of weeks ago when it hit home how far he has come with his journey. The same drive that did his back in 2 years ago , he did again 2 weeks ago. Where for the next 2 weeks he ran @kings_landscaping__geelong on the floor of his home. This time out of the car, solid session and a 1km run around the block to finish. Last week he roles up the driveway with a new road bike and says check out my rig. The excitement in his voice, knowing 2 years ago he was was fearful of his back let alone riding a bike. New goal 75km ride in 8 weeks! #herewego

Moving the @ultimatesandbag away from the mind line of our body increases the difficulty of the exercise. Pulling the ultimate sandbag apart increases the core tension allowing our body to connect therefore increasing and assisting #stability . Great work!

04.01.2022 In our eyes hip hinge is more than Deadlifts and Bentover Rows. Resisting and moving through multiple planes of motion has been our success to connecting the chains post knee surgery years ago. Improving movement quality has been of the the biggest components to Cam Ward 4 marathons and 1 ultra post knee surgery. Of late he has worked through painful #shinsplints (a runners headache) and #hamstrings tendon issues with great success.... Finding the weakness or the cause of the issues was the key to really fixing the problem. Improve your quality of movement and your day just gets better!
