25.01.2022 Whats one of the top 10 hardest challenges you have accomplished. This checkpoint at the la ultra 555km would be one of my top 10. The entire race depended on me making it in time to 333km checkpoint by 6pm. I found myself at the top of the 3rd pass 5400m in altitude with about 25kms to get there. I did all the calculations and my pace would have to average under 5mins/km. With the oxygen so thin i knew it would be close and i would have no room for resting or taking it eas...y or making any errors. I started my sprint down and could see the 2 other remaining runners towards the bottom. The experience running down was literally out of this world but thats a whole different story to tell. I got into the checkpoint t about 5:55pm and burst into tears. It was so draining and emotional and i was exhausted. I went and sat in a race officals car and spent 15mins by myself trying to take it all in and compose myself. The other runners left for the n3xt checkpoint. I changed ate and had a 40min sleep. Which proved crucial and a smart contributor to my 1st place position across the finish line 2 days later. 333km checkpoint @laultra555

25.01.2022 Good couple weeks training, Body feeling good after having a few months off Hopefully back to this strength again soon

24.01.2022 Nutrition and supplements can give you an edge when used with good daily eating habits and training. Most of you that know me, know I steered clear of supplements for most of my life, other than a bit of proteins back when I was in my early 20s and some BCAAs and a few other things about 10 years ago. A few years ago I started pushing my limits entering ultra distance running events. I had heard of @go2oxygen from a woman @krysty I coached that won the 24hr obtacle Aussie t...itles here in Australia, then after meeting with them myself and as skeptical as I am I decided to try it for myself. What got my attention more were the health benefits that I was being told directly my peers were experiencing. Other than the fact that I also had an upcoming 555km race through the Himalayas. After some research I knew it would be worth trying. During my race I crossed 5 peaks above 5350m, and ran for 5 days straight with only about 40% sea level oxygen. I heavily got into the main supplement 'premium liquid oxygen' after day 2 where my support team handed it to me every 5kms to take a swig. And with that I was runnung 4-5 minutes per km for long sections of the last 12hrs. There I was on 4hrs sleep, 6hr down time, almost pulled out with a sore knee, 490kms of running in my legs and picking up speed. People honestly couldn't believe it, including myself. Now there may have been a few factors helping me crush the end of the race where I overtook the 2 runners in front of me and then increased my lead, walked the last 10kms, finished 3.5hrs ahead of 2nd place after always leaving each major check point 3hrs behind them. Thats 6-8hrs time I made, 480kms into a race, in the final stages. But I have to give credit where it's due and I believe this helped my body incredibly, combined with top support, my drive and endurance. ALL gave my body or mind or both the push I needed I Uing GO2 Oxygen for my recovery (and still do daily) right until my next event ONLY 3 weeks later, Again to come away with 1st place at the 102km Lycian way in Turkey. INCREDIBLE I wish I had tried this sooner, as I had heard about it. But now Im one of many elites that use this amazing supplement See more

23.01.2022 Focus One of my best purchases ever. Amazing Bose noise cancelling headphones. Perfect for when im programming for my clients, studying, and trading. Gives me that peace and quiet while still being in the house with my amazing newborn. She is so adorable but sometimes we all just need our space to get work done and have a little time to ourselves.... Highly recommended Bose QuietComfort 35

18.01.2022 A year ago I was recovering from this (in picture) @laultra555 One of the biggest challenges in my life so far! I got through it in 120hrs with grit, determination and awesome support. Oh and about 6hrs rest. This year I had planned to do the 111km event and then support my client from Europe while he attempted the 555km himself. But unfortunately it was not meant to be. ... Hopefully next year See more

08.01.2022 Tying to stay feeling younger by lifting heavy again. Next 3 months will be aiming to build strength and consistently run daily. Not as long though. 2 years ago i spent 6 motnhs focusing on my strength and felt amazing to be ale to live day to day without the thought if things are dangerous or too heavy to lift. As im getting older im realising i have to be more cautious. So by focusing on my strength again will bring me back to a place where I feel comfortable being able to easily lift things, including my fast daily growing baby. I'm getting up a 65kg dead ball this week. An upgrade from the 45kg in this photo

08.01.2022 Can't wait to travel, meet new people and win some more races. Show my baby girl how it pays to be determined and go after your goals. Turkey @lycianwayultramarathon 105km Tied 1st place with @begradibega
