25.01.2022 Morning all, I am confident a lot of you will have already donated - but I would like to think with the power of the hiking community behind us that we can do a bit more. We all enjoy the National Parks and the precious wildlife that are in integral part of the ecosystems. If you can share $1, $5 or $100 - its up to you and every little bit will help. We have destroyed habitats, cutoff bush corridors and have pushed many to the brink of extinction.... Now is the time to help the helpless and give anything we can to start the healing. Big Love. Vern Fitzgerald - admin of Ultralight Hiking Australia.

20.01.2022 I am the admin of this page and others you may be a member of. I do not normally allow fundraisers etc on the pages - but I am compelled currently to do what I can fo the families of the firefighters lost in the fires so far. I would like to ask if anyone would like to donate, whatever amount possible to help. I am awaiting a reply for the best way to get this money directly to the families involved and will update accordingly. Thanks for any assistance and please stay safe during this crisis
