24.01.2022 Whilst we are just having to push back the launch of Ultra Series SA and our massive $17,000 giveaway and opening of events, I just wanted to give you a little insight into one of our upcoming new events, the Hysterical Carnage Backyard Ultra. The Backyard Ultra is an event where you tackle a 6.71k loop, on the hour every hour. 24 hours equals exactly 100 miles. There are several truly intriguing and fixating reasons to be involved with a backyard ultra. ... - You don't have to be fast to necessarily win. - Just 6.71k each hour. You can even walk/run it. - Every hour, at that start line, everyone is at the exact same distance. The field resets every hour. - It is the most epic ultra running event where the whole field comes together every hour. As a spectator, this is unbeatable. - Crewing is ridiculously good because you get to hang out with every other crew and all the spectators. - No one knows when it will end. It only finishers when there is one last person standing. - Hysterical is to be even more spectacular, as we have EXCLUSIVE use of the entire caravan park. We have all their cabins, ensuites, glamping tents, sites and facilities as host for this world class event. Race entries will be $170 each. It will be mandatory to book accommodation in addition to your entry too at the caravan park and options will range from un-powered campsites, to ensuite sites, cabins and glamping tents and will be priced accordingly. Mandatory 3 nights accommodation is our way of giving back to the communities and organisations that are supporting us to bring these events to life. It is also a great encourager for us all to stick around for the 3 days and make the most of the weekend. Accommodation can ONLY be made with your entries and cannot be booked through the caravan park as they will not be taking individual bookings for this event. We will doing this on their behalf.
