21.01.2022 Thanks to the Tasmanian Community Fund our club has just commenced major upgrade works to the kitchen. Progress has started on the installation of a 1500 litre grease trap which will comply with TasWater requirements. Installation of a new pre-rinse sink and tapware next to the dishwasher. New stainless steel table. This will complement a brand new combi oven & deep fryer adding capacity to our current kitchen. This upgrade will enhance and improve the already great commercial kitchen the club has available for use and hire. We have also been able to add an additional fridge in the kitchen as well. We cant wait to see this progress! Stay tuned for updates.

10.01.2022 Anyone know these Rowers in this film ?

09.01.2022 Just wanted to share that the pole on Shag Rock has been reinstated. But is a new and improved version. Also, that tree that has caught a number of defenceless rowers between the Bass Highway and Shag Rock has met its match. It is fair to say that the river is now looking very tidy!!! Thanks Michael Wilson. See everyone next year......

02.01.2022 Our Boat Captain has had a look at the river today and has decided that club boats are OK to go out again. BUT there may be new obstacles in the river so for the next few weeks rowers need to be vigilant and see what is around them as they move up the river.

02.01.2022 Recently we were lucky to be able to add a brand new double scull to our fleet. The new addition was christened at a recent naming ceremony held at the club. Annette Dolbel was recognised for her tireless work over a number of year with the boat being officially named after her. We would like to thank Joan Rylah and the Liberal Party for their part in making the purchase possible.
