25.01.2022 Our team did a #emptyesky tour of East Gippsland and the North East of Victoria to support the bushfire affected businesses doing it tough after losing a whole summer seasons income. We bought back a bounty of local produce to raffle from our Bentleigh East clinic. Included is: A nights luxury accommodation at The Moorings in Metung, an Esky from BCF Bairnsdale, Pinot Noir from Nicholson River Winery, Chardonnay from Tambo winery, Gippsland draught from Bullant Brewery in Bru...then and much more. Remember running out of P2 masks because of smoke inhalation? But hey a care package is probably even more important now. 15.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PATIENTS*** To do our part to reduce the spread of this virus and flatten the curve of infection, Umbrella Health has made some key changes to how we support patients: 1. All initial GP consultations have been moved to a phone or video appointment. (It is still the same great local GP's providing healthcare it is just via your phone or computer)... 2. Subsequent face to face appointments will be made at the GP's discretion on a case by case basis for essential treatment only. (ask you GP if this impacts you) 3. To promote social distancing we are offering free (no contact) delivery of pharmacy items and prescriptions to any patients within 10km of clinic. (message us for more information or ask your GP during your consultation) 4. All employees have been working from home and will continue to until this is over. Our GP's will also work from home unless essential treatment 'in clinic' is required. We understand that this is a very difficult and unprecedented time for all of us.
