The long awaited release of information relating to the new Dirt Karting activity is finally here Scouting will be running ALOT of events this year under a fully revamped format.... Online bookings through the website are absolutely essential! Make sure you book early to avoid disappointment as we already have several enquiries and bookings. We are also looking for Venturer or Rover Scouts and/or leaders who may be interested in joining the team as well. Please make contact if you want more information on volunteering! 22.01.2022 Rochedale Revue 49 mins It is great sadness that we report on the passing of Jodi Simpson. Jodi joined the cast when she was a Cub Scout and was awarded the Revue 10 Show Scarf ( twenty year) in 2015. After her years in the Youth Movement, Jodi went on to take a Leadership role at Upper Mt Gravatt Scout Group.... Jodi will be remembered as the friendly cast member, always smiling and doing her best. Her first Revue, Jodi was cast in an oversize high chair "banging on the pots and pans. Our thoughts are with here parents - Robyn & Daryl as well as her Brother Brett who are all active and great supporters of the Rochedale Revue and the Scout Movement at Upper Mt Gravatt Scouts. 19.01.2022 The Palaszczuk government's container deposit scheme has been such a windfall for community groups in our area. Just look at the Upper Mount Gravatt Scout Group..., which raised $1500 last year collecting cans and bottles and have raised $500 already so far this year. Across the state, we've seen more than 1.4 billion containers recycled since the scheme began. That's $140m back into the pockets of community groups, charities and ordinary Queenslanders. It's also great for our environment and our economy.

Kallangur Scout Group have ha...d their equipment trailer stolen from our facility at John Oxley Reserve Murrumba Downs sometime between the 20th and 27th December. Registration is CZ1799. It has been reported to Police. The theft of this trailer makes planning for our 2020 youth activities very challenging (because running a Scout Group is smooth sailing to begin with). Without this trailer, the range of activities the youth of the Group can undertake are very limited as they tend to need a great deal of equipment when they get out and about. These donations along with the donations from the Upper Mt Gravatt Scout Group Joeys, cubs and scouts, will be given out at Signal Flare BBQ for the homeless on 8th December at Musgrave Park.
