19.01.2022 Year 6 Farewell Walk - Wednesday 16 December @ 2:55pm Covid guidelines prevent parents from coming on the school site and we want to include you in the 2020 Year 6 Farewell Walk. Year 6 parents are invited to participate in the Year 6 Farewell Walk this year. This will take place on Wednesday 15 Dec starting at 2:55pm at the gate in the corner of the school grounds closest to the car park at Umina Oval. Parents can line up along the footpath 1.5 metres apart for social dista...ncing. Parents can clap the children through along the walk and avoid physical contact. No high fives, kissing or hugging. Students will make their way along the footpath up Melbourne Ave and will re-enter the school at the gate near our Stage 1 building. The students will then continue walking through the school surrounded by their fellow students clapping them along to the school hall. Notes: - Parents should stand either side of the footpath on Melbourne Ave (see map) and clap the students through. We cannot form a physical arch due to Covid. - Parents should be positioned on either side of the footpath on Melbourne Ave between the two gates identified in the map below. Parents should also be socially distanced side by side along the footpath. - Only Year 6 parents should attend as we cannot encourage social gathering or mingling around the school. Thanks for your support in this event. We know it is different to what has happened in the past and we are doing our best to ensure that our students don't miss out on these memorable end-of-school experiences.
