22.01.2022 Saturday saw us play the last game of the season. Congratulations to all our teams, we know it hasn’t been an easy year. Thank you for all your patience. We have 5 of our competition teams in the semis. ... 10-2 finished 2nd 11-2 finished undefeated minor premiers 12-1 finished 4th 14 girls tag finished 4th 17-2 finished 2nd Unfortunately our 13-2 and 15-2 didn’t make the semis, with both teams finishing 6th. Unfortunately due to the restrictions from COVID-19 and at this stage only 1 parent or carer able to attend, we are unable to attend the semis and cheer our teams on so please comment on here and give our teams your support. We will keep you updated on their progress after this weekend. We would also like to thank everyone who has helped with set up, pack up, canteen or anything you have helped us with throughout the season. We couldn’t have done it without you. Bring on the semis. 20.01.2022 The CCDJRL will be holding the Semi Finals, Finals & Grand Finals at the Central Coast Regional Sporting & Recreational Complex, Morry Breen Complex & Central C...oast Stadium. International Semi Finals will be on the Saturday (26th September) & Mods & Girls on the Sunday (27th September) in week one. All Finals will be played on the following Saturday (3rd October) with the Grand Finals Saturday 10th October & Sunday 11th October. The draw structure will be released soon. Due to the current situation with COVID-19 pandemic we have to be strict on numbers at the venue to keep in line with the maximum numbers allowed. For the first two weeks each team participating will receive one ticket for each player to give to a Parent/Carer & 5 tickets for the Coaching/support staff. No other person/s will be allowed entry. Teams & Spectators will be required to warm up, play & leave. We will have areas set up & gaps between games to help with this. Grand Finals will be reviewed dependant on the next update when we receive it from NSW Health & NSWRL. Please note, the situation is subject to change.

20.01.2022 Yesterday saw our first home game for the season go ahead. Thank you to everyone who helped out throughout the day from set up to canteen to pack up. We need your help on game day to make it work. 14.01.2022 CCDJRL Media Release Now we are back into training, Clubs are enforcing the COVID restrictions & have done a lot of hard work behind the scenes to get back on t...he field. Well done & Thank you. The competition will kick off on the 18th July with some different rules for training & game day. These rules may change as the situation is constantly changing but for now, we all need to follow the rules. The competition will go for 10 rounds finishing with the Grand Finals on the 10th & 11th October. The draw for the first three rounds will be out soon & please remember that it is subject to change. Game times will be modified & will have drinks breaks included with trainers not allowed on the field during play. Things are changing constantly & hopefully we can get back to some type of normality but until then we need to stay COVID Safe by all Parents, Carers, Spectators & participants and ensure we follow any instructions given by Clubs at training & on game days so we can have an uninterrupted season. Please remember for now we have restrictions on numbers attending training & games, Get in, Train/Play, Get out, Social distancing of 1.5m, Stay at home if you're sick, Wash your hands regularly and cover coughs and sneezes. 09.01.2022 As you may have read on the NSWRL website, we have received an exemption for the numbers that can attend this weekend’s Semi-Finals at the Central Coast Regiona...l Sports & Recreation Complex. Whilst there is a significant increase in numbers that can now attend, we have a number of conditions set out in the exemption. To enter you will not require a ticket. We will still have to have parents sign in either via the attendance sheets at the gate or the QR codes. We will still require teams to enter together thru the separate player/official entry with their NSWRL Attendance Sheet. We will still have to have 1.5 metre social distancing for people not from the same household. We will still require people not to attend if they feel unwell. We will still require larger gaps between games. We will still require teams to arrive 20 minutes before games for mods & 30 minutes before games for international games. We will still require participants to arrive, warm up/play & leave where possible. We will still require teams to warm up on the field they are playing on. We must keep groups of people at each oval separate either by a minimum 15 metre distance or physical barrier.

04.01.2022 NSWRL COMMUNITY RUGBY LEAGUE - ANNOUNCEMENT Following last nights Joint Statement of State Sporting Organisations in relation to the latest Public Health Ord...ers, Community Rugby League continues in 2020. With the exception of Farrer High School in HVCC and North Tamworth in Ncle RL U19s, Newcastle-Central Coast Regional Rugby League competitions remain intact. Once again NSWRL thanks our volunteer workforce for their amazing support and dedication in unprecedented times. A key component of the agreement reached between the SSOs, Department of Health and Office of Sport is the commitment to; Cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and staff from different regions, for example by ceasing zone, regional or state championships or competitions* Cease any activities that result in overnight stays (e.g. multi-day training camps) due to increased risk of COVID transmission in residential-type settings with shared facilities Cease face-to-face social activities relating to community sports (e.g. award ceremonies, end-of-season social gatherings, post-training group dinners) Avoid carpools or bus travel with people from different household groups where possible; and For local activities, limit spectators to one parent only, where the child requires parental supervision during the sporting activity. Your clubs, individual and collective efforts in adhering to the aforementioned principles, and those following, is appreciated. COVID PLANS and IMPLEMENTATION Please be vigilant in the implementation of your clubs protocols and safety plans. Keep a copy of the COVID-19 Safety Plan and amendments on hand at each game day and make it available for inspection by an authorised officer if requested. It is vitally important that our clubs are complying with Government regulations at training and game days and actioning everything they said they would in their Safety Plans. The best way of alleviating any fears about community sport is to reassure the Government that were fully compliant and taking every required action to ensure safety. FIRST AID / TRAINERS All trainers who enter the field of play, must not carry water bottles or administer water to players during play. Drink breaks will be scheduled for quarter, half and three quarter break times as outlined in the match duration table. Furthermore, there is no provision in the NRL on Field Policy (Community RL) https://www.playrugbyleague.com//nrl-on-field-policy_v4_0. or NSWRL Community RL Policies and procedures Manual for "message runners". The roles and responsibilities of On Field personnel are clearly stated in the Policy. The Ground Manager should remove any such persons from the field. How can we get around not being able to share drink bottles? You cant! Water bottles should not be shared at any time. Each player must have their own drink bottle. Introduce drink breaks to ensure that each player can rehydrate from their personal bottle. Trainers not to carry water bottles for players. Drink breaks will be built into game schedules. CONCUSSION PLEASE REMEMBER: The procedure in the 48 hours post incident involves 2 VISITS TO THE DOCTOR. It is imperative that this process is followed and verification is obtained/ retained/ presented as required. A follow-up evaluation must be conducted by a doctor within 48 hours of the initial head injury assessment by a doctor. All players returning to matches must complete and submit a NSWRL Community Rugby League Concussion Assessment Form within 3 business days of the game to their local League Administrator. Failure to submit this documentation within the required timeframe will result in the player being subject to the Mandatory 14 day stand-down period as outlined below. Only a Doctor can clear a player to return to training and play after a concussion. STOP SWEARING! VERBAL ABUSE, OFFENSIVE OR OBSCENE LANGUAGE Please see below a series of communications that have taken place this week following a spate of reports to NSWRL with regard to verbal abuse, offensive and/or obscene language in junior league matches. It is to noted that Referees have been directed to act on such incidents via the issuing of a penalty, temporary suspension, or send off. Lets work together to create an environment for learning and enjoyment! As per the Rugby League Code of Conduct encourage our players to: Never engage in disrespectful conduct of any sort including profanity, sledging, obscene gestures, offensive remarks, trash-talking, taunting or other actions that are demeaning to other players, officials or supporters. Always respect the Referees decision. Never become involved in acts of foul play. Honour both the spirit and letter of the competition rules and live up to the highest ideals of ethics and sportsmanship; avoid gamesmanship, and respect the traditions of the game. Be a good sport. MERCY RULE All matches in the Under 9s to Under 17s competitions will stop immediately when there is a points differential of 50 points. All matches in the Under 18s to Open Age competitions will stop immediately when there is a points differential of 60 points. Officials at official tables will sound the siren at the appropriate time. The maximum score differential that will be recorded is 50 points for Under 9s to Under 17s, or 60 points for Under 18s to Open Age competitions GET IN TRAIN/ PLAY, GET OUT Arrive ready to play (minimise preparation time) > Play > Leave promptly.

03.01.2022 PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT A Central Coast resident has tested positive to COVID-19. The man in his 50s and his close contacts are now in isolation. The source of infection is a previously reported cluster in Sydney CBD. The train journeys are the only risk locations identified. There are no other exposure sites identified on the Central Coast.... The Local Health District is urging commuters who travelled on these train services to monitor for symptoms. ***Times updated*** Monday 24 August: Sydney-bound train, departing Woy Woy station at 6.49am, arriving Wynyard station at 8.05am. Northbound train, departing Town Hall station at 5.31pm, arriving Woy Woy station at 6.54pm Tuesday 25 August: Sydney-bound train, departing Woy Woy station at 6.49am, arriving Gordon station at 7.36am Northbound train, departing Hornsby station at 7.53am, arriving Woy Woy station at 8.28am. Anyone who travelled on these train services is considered a casual contact and anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough or shortness of breath is urged to get tested. Our 11-2s went down to Blue Haven and also get another shot next week. Unfortunately our 12-1s and 14 girls tag Both lost to Erina unfortunately knocking them out for this year. Keep your heads high as you were a team with a few new players and first year in the comp. You made the club and yourselves proud to have made it this far and get a shot at the semi’s.
