25.01.2022 Update for Fighters: If I have booked your flights, you will be collected from the Airport when your flight arrives. If I did not book your flights or you are driving in, please let me know when you are arriving. Call 0410327331.... Also please be aware of the limited weight cutting facilities in Rockhampton. I have done my best and will help you where I can. There is transport available the entire time everybody is in town to get you where needed. Regards Ken.

25.01.2022 I spoke with Glen Andrews (UCU#3 opening bout) today. His arm is on the mend from the unfortunate landing he had on the canvas. Most people do not know that Glen played a part in putting the show together. Big thanks Glen. Despite the injury he is keen for a comeback on UCU#4. The man has courage. Good on ya Mate. Glen has okayed the pics of the moment......

21.01.2022 Just a quick update on UCU peeps! The date for UCU 4 is still to be announced, as I am working with other regional shows up this way, to ensure our show dates don't clash. UCU 4 is defiantly going ahead, and still looking at April next year! To ensure the success of MMA it is vital that all regional shows work together to grow the sport to its fullest potential. ... I will keep every body posted over the coming weeks! Love and Respect to all!

16.01.2022 Post UCU Update: Where to start...... After the shortest time in history to pull together the first show for Rockhampton, I am very pleased with how it turned out. Crowd numbers were not up where I would have liked thanks to Ticketek (will not do that again), but the atmosphere was good on the night and the crowd enjoyed the quality fights that Ben Livingstone had painstakingly put together. Thanks mate.... We had a number of problems behind the scene but this was to be expected with putting on my first event in a new venue and town. Soooo much easier in a smaller town like Emerald. I send a big thanks to the fighters, coaches and corner men (some who travelled far), who helped to create a great night. A very big thanks to the Volunteers who put in a stellar effort before, during and after show, especially Mike McDaniels and Glen,Chris and Mel from Emerald, Dave and Shawn with the cage from Mackay MMA and my own guys Justin, Darren and the Betascapes staff who went beyond their duties to help out. I cannot forget my bro Jamie who spent lots of his precious phone credit from a work camp out at Blackall, calling me with words of encouragement, all the while jumping out of his skin wishing he could have been a part of the show he created! Much appreciation to our Rockhampton sponsors: Diplocks Group, The Gracemere Hotel, Win TV, Hot FM, Bartercard, The Sterling Motel, UD Trucks, Arnolds Advanced Tyres and all the other businesses (of which are to numerous to list) who donated prizes for the Cancer Council Qld raffles. 13.01.2022 After my long hiatis, I am back working hard on UCU 4!! Date soon to be announced, as well as a few suprises! Lets take a vote everyone, One lucky city will get a fight night to FKN remember! At this stage we are looking at Rockhampton, Gladstone, or Townsville. So come on people, get behind UCU, and your region, and vote to have this A class MMA event in your town....
