09.01.2022 I can’t do it justice, so please head to @niquejewellery and have a look at the amazing post Danica wrote about the creation of her own engagement ring, and why. Her work is incredibly special, and creating the perfect custom pieces for her clients is her legit gift, but this friends, this is next level.

08.01.2022 Made it by the skin of my teeth to see @frankiedigs exhibition, ‘Osso Bucco’ at 8 Belgrave Street, Manly. If you’re around today, pop in. I’ve got two favourites... guess. Congratulations on a stunning show @frankiedigs and @herbadashery on your beautiful new space. X

08.01.2022 Repost: @redolivestudios . . Fresh new studio feels ... ... . We’ve had @undergroundartspace for 10 years, and when I got sick, I let go of our biggest and brightest space, and have coveted it ever since (8 years) because it goes as soon as it’s vacant. It’s the biggest single spot, looks out into a secret backyard in Balgowlah, and has floor to ceiling windows at one end. It’s pretty spectacular. After spending 5-6 years in the #naughtycorner (pictured) it became available last year and over I moved over with glee. . And created nothing. At all. . Turns out I’m a corner dweller after all, and after some recent shuffling, I got my naughty corner back! Turns out all the space, and all the light wasn’t for me. It feels like a hug up the back, my place to hide and express. So I’ve painted the floors a beautiful sage green, and built a false wall, and I’m stoked. Bursting with ideas and inspiration. Isn’t it the weirdest thing though? I never professed to not being a strange bird, but this even makes me laugh! . Watch this space though... the best and brightest space we have at the ARTspace is about to be listed again ... See more

07.01.2022 Yeah, we get the very best visitors sometimes. Peter is on the favourites VIP list easily.

05.01.2022 Absolutely amazing day at the Stude today with some of the gang. Our gorgeous @victoriagkeen so kindly and patiently hosted us in making clay Christmas decorations (featured work of Min). Seriously so much fun, and even more learning! So grateful to be part of such an amazing space with such legendary studio mates. Thanks gang

04.01.2022 Repost from @loobylou_candles . . .... As you know, we’re super passionate about re-use here at HQ, and love when people send snaps of how they’ve re-used our vessels. This one was next level this morning though! My fave jeweller @niquejewellery sends me this with the following message. New use for your wax.... my rollers are now lubricated and smelling pretty. How fantastic is that?!! We always encourage people to use that tiny last bit of candle wax in their oil burners (our wick stickers are also there as an important safety buffer to keep the flame away from glass) or sometimes your wick can tip over (usually only if you’ve burned for more than the recommended time) but nothing should ever get wasted. In a million years, I’d have never thought of this however! Speaking of re-use, just wait and see the last piece Dani made me using a diamond I had from a ring that held some pretty bad juju and associations. We’d already re-used the gold on my beautiful Lucid ring, but I’d been waiting for the perfect idea for the diamond, and she nailed it. All the bad juju shifted, and as if anyone should ever have quality jewellery in a drawer. So much #localssupportinglocals going on via @undergroundartspace its magic.
