24.01.2022 RIP our 2020 season Our second production of 2020 was set to be 'Love's Labour's Lost' by William Shakespeare. This show had already been cast and a crew was being put together by the time the difficult decision was made to cancel. Thank you so, so much to everyone who began work on LLL, we hope we'll be able to collaborate again in 2021. Graphic Design by Rose Gamble.

24.01.2022 RIP our 2020 season Our third mainstage show of the year was to be 'Corpus Christi' by Terrence McNally. The play is known to be a bit controversial - It tells the story of Jesus and the Apostles, except it's set in Texas and they're all gay. Who doesn't love a queer bible story? Sadly we'll never know thanks to COVID. Art by Rose Gamble.

14.01.2022 RIP our 2020 season Last but not least, our second contender for our final mainstage show was 'Girl Asleep' by Matthew Whittet. The play is an Australian work which follows Greta as she finds herself in a bizzare through-the-looking-glass existence on her 15th birthday. It is a journey into an absurd but beautiful teenage mind. So... 'Top Girls' or 'Girl Asleep'? Which would have been your pick? ... Art by Rose Gamble.

09.01.2022 RIP our 2020 season 'Autumn Leaves' is a play which was being developed by our 2020 FADO team, Bronagh McDermott and Mats Brokvam, for Anywhere Festival. A quirky show about love, the universe and finding a purpose, 'Autumn Leaves' was envisioned as a collaborative work in which the actors would help develop the script. As Anywhere Festival did not go ahead as planned this year, we decided to pull the piece before it came to fruition. Thank you to our wonderful FADO for their hard work on this show. 03.01.2022 RIP our 2020 season For our fourth and final mainstage show of 2020, there were two contenders - our season was cancelled before either was set in stone. Our first contender was 'Top Girls' by Caryl Churchill. First performed in 1982, the play examines the roles and avenues to success available to women in the modern world and the consequences and costs of that success. 'Top Girls' was voted one of the 100 most significant plays of the 20th century in a poll by the Royal National Theatre in 2000, and it continues to be influential to this day. Art by Rose Gamble.
