19.01.2022 What does nice play at the dog park look like? Well, dogs are: Trained to come back They are watched carefully They are managed well!... They take turns They take breaks They sniff & scratch They look relaxed & loose! All ages, all breeds, some desexed, some not. Happy, well trained & socialised. Living their best lives.
16.01.2022 Some people say that you can’t teach herding without negative reinforcement or positive punishment.... when I’m given a challenge that I really believe in, I’ll dig in and get so determined. It’s taken a while as I had no idea about herding, the dog had no idea about herding. Annnnnd the sheep had no idea about herding This is his second time on sheep. Many months spent training the cues along side the sheep behind a fence and then VOILA! Now I need to up... My skills and fade my visual cues and learn more about the art of moving the sheep I hope you enjoy, it’s quite hard to show unfinished training, but this is quite important to me That we get the word out ~ anything can be trained Force Free !!!!! 07.01.2022 A bit of fun for this Sunday.
07.01.2022 This is the USA but the same problems still exist here with invisible fencing. Unknown animals can enter, other dogs can enter. Your dog can override the shock to get out chasing a wallaby and then not have the drive to re- enter the yard area. I’ve heard of children trying to take a dog home over an invisible fence and dragging through the shock and then getting bitten by the very scared dog. Fences. Real fences. They are a thing.
05.01.2022 Everything starts from understanding body language
