25.01.2022 I’m feeling so grateful after this weekend. Time is a gift. I went for a road trip with family to see these two love birds; my grandparents. They have been married for almost 60 years and are still smitten. I love their love.

24.01.2022 You made it. There are so many people we have commended for doing an incredible job going through this year, and rightfully so! I really want to encourage our constant encouragers through this post: The Parents.... Mums and Dads, not only did you continue learning how to parent (because we know it’s a constant journey), you navigated your way through one one of the most challenging years so far this century. You had to be way more than parents you were teachers when you didn’t have all the answers, a place of safety and security no matter how you felt, and you had to reassure your children that life will get better, even when you may have battled your own fears. Parenting through a pandemic has been nothing short of a wild ride I’m sure. Some of you lost opportunities, jobs, friends and family members, and you STILL remained the source of strength for your family. You held yourselves together for your little ones. I applaud and honour you. You were the silent champions of the year. I hope and pray these holidays give you the rest and refreshment you need. Be blessed, be excited! Here comes 2021.

It’s a brand new idea, with the goal to give into our community and finish this year well we’re calling it the PAY WHAT YOU CAN service! We understand that 2020 has been interesting... and those moments for photos / self love may have diminished as our world changed. So we’re here to spread some love and provide opportunities for people that would love photos! ... What’s in this service? It’s a 30 minute photoshoot, with all the edited photos included. We’re keeping it simple and classy, so you can bless yourself, your family or someone you know who’s had a tough year. ANDDDD this opportunity will run until the end of the year! (we will provide dates for photoshoots if needed ) Back to the flowers... Who’s keen for a ROAD TRIP? I went scouting today and found a sweet spot for Sunflower Portraits! There was not a dry eye in this garden when the bride entered... but there was also an outburst of joy when the horse next door neighed after the celebrant asked all who would support this couple being married we’re glad he agreed with everyone! check out the last three photos!
13.01.2022 LONG POST The people in this photograph are of such high quality. Their hearts are full of the purest love! Here at Under the Fig Tree, we like to acknowledge outstanding people. In the beginning of 2019, Steve and Margot Biggs gave up everything here in Australia to follow their call and serve in a third world country (in their professions: piloting and nursing). But ever since the breakout of COVID-19, they have been trying to come home so they can serve their country du...ring this unusual time. There’s not much we can do to get them home, but I ask that if you’re a believer of prayer, would you join me in praying for these two? They are stuck in the UK currently. They can’t work there and their flights home have been cancelled one after the other. Its been a long few months, so please uplift these wonderful people in prayer.
