22.01.2022 Anyone have any experience or ideas about using Lilly Pilly (Syzygium) fruit? Its called a riberry & I know you can eat them raw or prepare in other ways. Theyre deliciously sweet & sour so I suspect many will be eaten raw but Id really love any ideas as my tree is about to be bursting. Im feeling lucky as Ive also just had an amazing crop of figs - my best yet.

22.01.2022 Ive been super quiet online lately, busy doing other things. How quickly do the days blend into each other other once school holidays start!? I feel like Ive had at least four Sundays in the last week! Wondering if any of you are able to provide advice or recommendations. Im looking for recommendations for PC laptops please. Ive used a Mac for years but already Connor has had compatibility issues with school (in grade 5!) so we need a PC. Any good models or bran...ds you can recommend? Thank you so much. 18.01.2022 I adore this!!! I stopped being able to wear any perfumes years ago, including fragrance sprays (especially deodorant sprays), and I cant tolerate room or car fragrance either. Make me itch, wheeze, feel nauseous and get a headache. Still sounds quite ridiculous so I love to read an article saying that other people are the same. I can tolerate my essential oils well enough, but not all of them and not all of the time. The difference being that most (almost all!) of my oils make me feel good!

06.01.2022 Drying nasturtium flowers to use for seasoning. We have so many that I can do this & still have loads to eat fresh. Theres a tray of seeds below to use as "pepper". Leaves next - Ill do far more of those. (No fancy dehydrator! This cheapie works & until it stops it wont be replaced. #reducereuserecycle #minimalwaste )

06.01.2022 I used to love taking my T4 meds at night but I am one of those patients for whom T3 meds affect sleep. Back to morning meds I went! The is a nice little article if you are on thyroid meds and thinking about what time is best to take them. And yay for any article that has a line like "...These studies confirm what many patients anecdotally have been reporting for years...". Listening to patients!

02.01.2022 Redcliffe locals, please keep an eye open for Boofy. He lives at Woody Point but may have travelled further. And Im guessing there may be a few more frightened escapees after the storms last night (& more storms are forecast). If you can, get them away from roads & other dangers until they can be reunited with their owners. If you need help, Id recommend Peninsula Animal Aid if youre local - they are wonderful. Share pics of anyone found on their Facebook page - i...ts one of the first places people check. Every area has some sort of shelter or RSPCA nearby. Take care, enjoy your Christmas break.
