24.01.2022 Champions Cup over for 2019 and the Gauls from Australia did well coming in 8th. Can’t wait to see which GREAT Aussie teams will head to Champions next year! @championscup_uwr is over for 2019! The UniDive Gauls finished 8th overall out of 13 An awesome effort for the team who learnt heaps! Pumped for the next Aussie nationals!

23.01.2022 Without access to the pool, Melbourne Underwater Rugby have been creative about how they keep fit. They've been doing land training and even went for a hike together! No doubt they will be ready to show everyone who's boss next time we meet underwater!

21.01.2022 It's a huge shame, and with massive thanks to the efforts already put in by local teams on both events, but: Both the Melbourne Cup and the UWRA 2020 Nationals have been cancelled in response to the PM's statement this morning. Event refunds to clubs are under negotiation with companies. Teams/Players should (hopefully) have good response in getting refunds for flights and accommodation now that this is a recognised nationwide position. There is likely more change on the way ...over next days & weeks - we will continue to review UWR's position against developing information & advice. 15.01.2022 UNSW Whales, Sydney Underwater Rugby was able to hop back in the pool last week for a fin swimming session. Whilst we are not allowed contact sports just yet, being in the water again was absolutely incredible!!

07.01.2022 Please share to your clubs, players etc. Not a decision that was taken lightly. Based on the latest advice from health department experts and SportAus, it is apparent that all national and state competitions for rugby will have to be postponed, effective immediately. All clubs should cease training sessions and not have gatherings in the name of our sport for coaching, recreation and fund-raising exercises.... 05.01.2022 Unidive Gauls Underwater Rugby have been having some fun in the pool! The water looks so enticing! Fingers crossed borders will be open soon and we can see how much the training has paid off.
