20.01.2022 This makes me very very angry Greenwashing at its absolute finest! While I commend this business for pulling plastic waste from the ocean. That is about it!... They are then turning it into more plastic packaging & filling it with synthetic bubble makers & water. Then selling it back to you at this ridiculous price! The only truly green & ethical way is to make it yourself. You need to add the water!! As soon as ‘they’ do, preservatives need to be added to give it shelf life. Plus your buying expensive plastic bottled water! However, good has come of this Under Your Sink is inspired more than ever to take this business from the garage to the world. Our goal will also be to remove plastic from the ocean, but also shelves so it’s stops happening!! We would also invest in ways to turn that plastic into infrastructure to permanently home people!!! This is a vision that is huge but totally achievable with the right team & investment. We are currently working on building the greatest team ever & seeking any expressions of interest. 19.01.2022 So this is not really cleaning related but I know most of you love a good DIY I tested out the Fusion mineral paint which is actually a VOC free eco friendly paint - but it’s not just that! A few coats, no primer & comes in amazing colours!... I don’t sell these paints nor have any affiliation other than a personal love for them. There are not a great deal of stockiest in Australia but find one, it’s worth it. You can turn some ugly furniture into show pieces with this stuff. I highly recommend it! Fusion mineral paint is what you are after! Ps that was an old ugly bedside I picked up for $12.50

18.01.2022 Yay a delivery arrived of Earth Bags Our beautiful cleaning products are packaged in these home compostable bags. They have a corn based biofilm inside making it a bit more durable to moisture & the outer layer is kraft paper.... The tin tie needs to be removed before composting, but save them and find a use for them (like the nose grip on a DIY face mask) The front is usually hand stamped or with a paper label, made from recycled paper using vegetable based ink. We offer beautiful amber glassware to store your cleaning products in style & soon you can grab a beautiful label (or set) to match In keeping with a green approach I avoided vinyl labels - but for the glassware that you refill, we needed something more durable & longer lasting. Something waterproof too!... Custom labels are coming next - where you can design the font/text on your glassware I’ll get these loaded up on the website ASAP. P.s you can make all these products, easily!!!
