20.01.2022 Check out Soo doing a chin up using the thinnest possible band (as in very little help!) Soo has been training consistently for 3 years at a UV and a strict chin up is so close! Such an incredible achievement to do one, super proud of you Soo!

17.01.2022 This babe has been training at UV for over 3 years, I remember our first phone chat very well, she was SCARED!!!! Being fearful is so common when joining a gym that's why we do an on-boarding session...you come in on your own, we chat and get to know you a little better, we take you through all the basic moves so we know how to coach you and usually everyone feels so EXCITED after that first session :) Thank you for 3+ years of your support Sarai, i'm assuming your fear went away pretty quickly xoxo

16.01.2022 For the first 3 years of Lewis life he was very open to trying anything and everything! Dan and I have the belief of we will do it as best as we can for as long as we can! If you don’t offer it they will never know and you might be very surprised with what they like! ... Lewis is nearly 4 now and definitely not as open to trying new things and that’s totally ok! Some days he eats no veggies, some days he only eats protein some days he eats sausage rolls (best quality from the bakery of course!) sometimes he eats 85% choc from the pantry before 7am and that’s totally ok! We still give him epic smoothies for breakfast where be add cold pressed raw milk and egg yolks! He still LOVES livers He only eats cucumber and cherry tomatoes Loves an Asian strirfry though And he eats a heap of peanut butter (Aussie) on rice cakes If you can give them the best of what they like then I think your doing pretty damn good!

14.01.2022 Is it possible to be addicted to being strong, like really addicted??? It gives me an epic high but even more of a high when I see other people do things that push them outside their comfort zones... I only EVER see people smile when they do this...... It can be doing a full depth lunge for the first time or hitting a deadlift PB or using the pull up bands or just showing up and doing a session! The exchange in energy is epic... Does anyone know what i'm talking about or am I just a weirdo?!

03.01.2022 I'm so grateful to be a qualified pre and post natal trainer.... This is what training 5 weeks post partum looks like and most of weeks 6-10 too after a c-section... Pelvic floor and transverse abdominal breath work and activation...... What helps your recovery is how you exercised DURING pregnancy too... Fortunately for me I knew exactly how to train my body through pregnancy which means I am able to return to exercise far sooner then most.... Will I be deadlifting or doing burpees? Nope... I'll be doing the following: checking in with my women's health physio activating & strengthening my PF gentle activation exercises to help my rectus diastatis (abdominal separation) simple bodyweight movements like squats, lunging, modified push ups and pulling work, walking and glute activation basic demonstrations for clients If you need any advice please shoot me a PM ,this is my jam!
