16.01.2022 UNE has made the difficult decision to cancel December graduations at our Armidale campus. UNE Vice-Chancellor Professor Brigid Heywood said that the decision ...was not made lightly, but COVID-19 restrictions have made inviting large numbers of people onto campus impossible. We will replace UNE’s December event with an online address by the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor at a date to be advised. Graduands are still invited to attend an in person ceremony in 2021 when restrictions are eased. We share in your sadness that we will be unable to celebrate your achievements in person this year, but are greatly looking forward being able to do so when this is safe for all of our students, guests and staff! Graduates from earlier in 2020 and late 2019 who advised you would like to attend a future ceremony, we have emailed you with further details. For students expecting to graduate in December, we will provide you with more information following the release of Trimester 2 results. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Graduation Team on 02 6773 2000 or by email through AskUNE.
